@@TinyShaman If you notice, early on, she sees animal traps hanging on the wall. and then the severed arms. That gave her the idea. Animals will often chew off a paw when they are stuck in a trap. There have been several instances of humans amputating a limb because they were trapped and help wasn't available. But the main thing here is her seeing the traps, the arms, and remembering that a trapped animal will chew off its arm to get out of a trap.
Saw this after/because troll.. and lil bit dark? Yeah.. but it's a sardonic version of coyote ugly -to the last commenter- so why say remove it or it was a mistake? Mature audience yes but I've seen more horrific scenes in pg rated movies
