what is that metal rod-type thing with yellow ends, at the middle of the handlebar?
Its a steering damper, it helps if the handlebars starts to wobble :)

My bike has 48hp and does 100kph at 3000rpm flat.
So how come bike manufacturers gear the bikes so low that your z1000 does a hundret at almost 5000rpm?
I mean if you want acceleration youre gonna be in gears 1, 2, 3 and maybe 4. So 6th gear should be designed to be fast and economical rather than quick and rpm hungry. Im sure 4 cylinder 100+ hp wont have a problem cruising at 100kph below 2000rpm, if my 48hp 670cc Honda nc manages to do it at 3000, right?
Yeah thats basically the only complaint i have about the z1000, 5th and 6th gear are so short it sucks..
If you go high in the revs in 4th gear you basically go 5-6 instantly

@@BottomCODmemess it depends on your patience and it takes a lot of practice and balance, how many years ? it depends on the rider as well it could take like years to achieve a pro level where u can do smooth moves like touching the ground or standing up while on a wheelie etc but normal wheelies with good practice you can make that happen in about a year but it all depends on how much u practice and how patient and determined you are.
