It makes me wonder why so many animals have cancer. I know some of the ingredients in pet food like artificial ingredients, Caramel color and carregenion which is a cancer risk are in pet foods. I look for the best pet foods with no artificial anything. My sisters dog died of cancer and my friends cat had to be put down because of cancer. It seems like it's gotten worse over the years and makes me wonder about the cheap pet foods being sold with horrible ingredients. They need to come up with a better way of making dry pet foods. People can't always afford the more expensive brands but there are cheaper brands with decent ingredients. I stay away from all the pet foods made with potatoes because of the carbs. Now they risk pets having diabetes from grain free pet foods loaded with carbs for fillers and add fish to just about every pet food out there. Fish is bad for neutered cats and I'm not sure about dogs. I had a cat die from kidney failure and I fed him meow mix and now after looking at the ingredients I probably help kill my cat. I've done a lot of research on pet foods and now I make sure my cats get dry and can foods. Can food is better for cats that don't drink a lot of water. I also add a little water to the can food. So sad about Shannon's dog. Not only humans are a victim to cancer but so are our precious pets. We just have to love them and be thankful for everyday we have them in our lives.
