I love this zombie decomposition discussion! If we're gonna get technical, the level of deterioration should depend mostly on how long ago someone was bitten. Of course there are zombies that are just twitching lumps of flesh on the ground, but not everyone was bitten at the start of the Z-Poc. We're going to see zombies in various states of decay because, yes, some are 'fresher' than others. Also, my own personal theory is that zombies who get to feed on humans from time to time will experience improved muscle tone, stronger ligaments and healthier looking skin.....Results may vary from zombie to zombie.
