We were at the "Model World Live" event, at the NEC Birmingham today.
The Airfix stand was great and had the new kits and the watches on display. We had a good chat with one of the Airfix representatives and he let my friend try on one of the watches. My friend is a collector of high end watches and he is very impressed with them. He wanted to buy one there and then, but was told they would not be on sale until May. He is putting in a pre-order, as he was that impressed.

Looks good and if it is a money maker, will that money go into better tooling, more detail and photo etch included in kits?
Sure some of the new kits interest me but it feels like the same old Airfix kits.
I know what I’m getting and it doesn’t really peak my enthusiasm unlike with other manufacturers these days.
