    I've been doing the shopping rounds recently, and although it was difficult to find a Bobcat dealer with one on the lot to see, I was pleasantly surprised by the operation. The controls are all situated well and the loader controls were smoother than Kubota and Massey. I hopped right on the Bobcat and as a novice operator I had 2 functions going on the loader immediately. Very smooth.

    Great video 👍 Kioti would be a great company to expand with for Bobcat share the development of load moving forward. It would be just like LS and CNH have done look at the 3 brands of tractors that came out of the alliance. I'm not any sort of a professional expert but we do have 2 tractors one from each of the above mentioned South Korea companies LS and Daedong and I feel both companies have growth potential and they have gained ground in the United States compact tractor market. Does Bobcat plan to offer a size similar to the new Kioti CX series or will the CX remain a Kioti exclusive? The CT1025 and CT2025 are a far distance apart on what they can do. How about a tractor that can lift over 1000 lbs with the loader yet not be over 50 inches wide? How about a narrower tire option for the CT2025 I can dig that for sure. I am trying to make a decision and really want the bobcat name and white color. I love the color white to set it apart and the Bobcat name and logo screams this is not a toy it is a mean machine! I know Kioti is a great machine. I need to lift logs in excess of 1000 lbs all day but don't want such a wide machine as the CT2025 because I also will use it to cut my grass with a belly mower 54 inches. The market for under 100hp tractors is growing bigger than the larger tractors. Look at the limited supply of compact tractors since COVID. Heck I’m looking for a compact now and in my market there are tractors with no tires waiting to be finished due to a massive buy over the last few months. For compacts the major brands are Kubota, Deere, KIOTI, LS (NH & Case), and TYM (some Mahindra models).

      DTB Farms yeah in my area only 2 tractor houses sell them. The rest are just add on dealers that mainly sell ATVs. Both dealers have Kioti and said to go that route.

      Korea is the worst copycat next to China. Hyundai takes the Honda logo and slants it sideways. Kioti takes the Kubota logo and slants it sideways. They also took Kubota colors. A Chinese tractor company would just build a crappy tractor, paint it green, and actually put John Deere stickers on it...but they would probably spell it “Jon Deer.”

    While competition is always a good thing, this is a very saturated market and Bobcat should be jumping in with both feet. I feel like based on their option offering and future plans they are simply “testing the waters” again. They should have offered some real info such as lift capacities, dig depths, SSQA? Etc. one of the reasons I feel Kubota owns as much of the market as they do is their option and size list, they stair step their chassis and hp size much better than anyone else. Their b series is their most popular and the only other company that offers one that size is the Mahindra max/emax series. Bobcat should have made this a priority to go hard after. By all means good luck to them, and I do hope they build in house, again one of Kubota’s strongest selling points.

    If Bobcat wants to TAKE market share. STOP! With the confusing model numbers... and "Skipping" a number because there is little difference? Well make it different or don't skip the numbers. As far as "in house" manufacturing.
    The other brands have found that the margins are to little. To take on all aspects of engineering and tooling etc.
    If Bobcat wants good market share do something your competitors aren't doing. Remember if you meet your competitors models no one will notice. If you exceed your competitors models that will get attention. Like New Holland compact tractors start with 25 HP!
    Enclosing, the more models of compact tractors smaller the market share everyone has.
    Honestly, Bobcat will get some sales but they are late to the show.

    • @bradcoddington1679
      @bradcoddington1679 4 роки тому +2

      Actually they are returning to the show. They had a compact tractor a few years ago but left for some reason. I wouldn't buy a bobcat product because there are to many cooks in the kitchen meaning that bob cat is owned by doosan and is built by another korean company Kioti and then branded a bobcat. Ya the others are also built by a second party but with companies like deere they have been around for over a century and have a much larger dealer network and parts network. Its not just the tractor you by but the whole dna of a company. This is why I go with JD instead of CaseIH because Im a red guy at heart but am not a fan of fiat owned cnh. There is so much to look at when buying a tractor now a days than just the color of it.
