Was ein anderer Hersteller mit dem Tempo Dreirad rund in und um den zweiten Weltkrieg gemacht hat, nimmt Gecko Models mit dem Saigon Shuttle aus der Vietnamkriegs Ära auf. Zwei- und Dreiräder waren (und sind es noch) sehr beliebt in Vietnam und waren aus dem Stadtbild kaum wegzudenken.
Der chinesische Hersteller wartet nicht nur mit einem, sondern gleich mit zwei Modellen auf, liefert auch etwas landestypisches Gepäck und einen Fahrer bei der Pause mit. Da werden wir sicherlich bald wieder ein paar Vietnam-Dioramen mehr zu sehen bekommen. Bild- und Video-Material gibt es ja reichlich.

What another manufacturer did with the Tempo tricycle in and around the Second World War, Gecko Models is taking up with the Saigon Shuttle from the Vietnam War era. Two- and three-wheelers were (and still are) very popular in Vietnam and were an integral part of the cityscape.
The Chinese manufacturer has not just one, but two models, and also supplies some typical country luggage and a driver for the break. We will certainly see a few more Vietnam dioramas soon. There is plenty of image and video material.
