This was so clever! We also chose red. It was really hard for use to leave behind a second possible puzzle and path but we agreed to wait, so I'll be back to watch the end of this video later when we're done with the calendar!
Hahaha, I just LOVE the wacky team making these games!!! Thanks for showing the blue box too! Btw, the little thing in the corner existed in at least two other rooms, maybe more - definitely something for a puzzle later on (with, or without the letter in the little "ears" holding the doors closed, who knows...) Will be interesting to find out!
I needed a hint for today and only because of that I saw there was text bellow the small red pill saying to fold on the lines. Also I think they intended us to fold along the line completely instead of just bending but it's funny you managed to get to the same answer without doing that.
It ends up being the same. Imagine you have a box like he did. Then you can squash edges 1 and 5 together, and then fold it in half. I regularly collapse cardboard boxes this way. Folding 2 really just gets that extra side out of the way.
@@06arnoldcharles I'm always pleased when people tell me I did it differently to the given solution, since it helps prove my solves are genuine rather than 'inspired' by a sneaky peek at the help booklet! :) So thank you for telling me that - how interesting. I did just experiment with folding it flat and found it much trickier!
I am still impressed they made a whole page in a different book for a joke got to love that puzzle was fun to (saw the number as soon as the folding was done. But knowing to fold should have then me a long time.
It would have helped if I had noticed the instructions written beneath the red pill symbol on the inside side, that someone else has since pointed out. :)
I stop at 9:19! I was told to leave the other compartment alone and unseen, so I'm not watching the rest! But good solve anyway! And so cool with the Matrix, and actually making a choice!
Yes, I think you'd have to do it via a web interaction. For something like this, unless you can replay it again (which of course you can't) then it doesn't make huge sense to have a branching story - it's not like a computer game where someone really might replay it right away.
Oops, so I did! I didn't see the text on the inside at all. :) I did, however, wonder (a) why the pill was there and (b) why there weren't instructions hidden in the text. Clearly I am not very observant!!! ;)

I did exactly the same as you, I liked this puzzle, probably because I completed it without a hint😂
Well done! :)

Ooh interesting. I bet the day it DOES become relevant is the day I forget they exist. :)
Yes! There are so many of these - I think they are security cameras.
The Matrix is such a great film
100% agreed! Which just made the two sequels even more disappointing...
@ so disappointing
I like the record in the nightstand when you read the page after swallowing the blue pill. -Does that mean you loose ”Whamageddon”? 😂
I wondered about the record too! Who knows?!

@@Tahgtahv I know it's the same I saw the video haha, was just commenting he got there without needing to go through all the steps

Thank you for covering the blue pill too 😊
I'm glad I did because truthfully I think if I'd waited until day 24 to have a look it would have been a bit of an anti-climax! :)
That was a fun one!
It was, wasn't it? I like it when it seems completely bewildering and then suddenly you solve it. :)

Fair enough! I would have done so too, were it not for the fact I'm making these videos. :)
The pills got me thinking- a branching narrative calendar would be awesome, but ridiculously difficult to implement and not to mention expensive!

We did not get it today. Because we thought that we needed to fold the sides in the direction of the arrows, which means you do not get a BOX...
That is correct. You're not supposed to get a box. Just fold each flap as instructed and you'll still get the same overlap at the end.
You completely ignored the red pill!!!
Yeah i hope Gareth read the full solution afterwards

@@mystemo1980 I haven't yet, but I have read the comments above and found the green text. :) I'll look at it later just before I record day 13.
