@@kingdomoftransylvania5744 The only ones that didn't make sense were Lichenstein as it isn't a country and San Marino as it's sovereignty is more of a joke as they allow people to rent out the "entire country" if you want: as it's basically the Vatican without any of the power.

@@goosenuggets9693 I really don't see why you wouldn't count Liechtenstein or San Marino. Both are countries, are recognised as such and have stable national governments. Whatever they choose to do with their territory, they are undeniably countries.

41/50. I need to brush up on the former Soviet republics although I got a couple. The Francophone countries in Africa got me a bit as well. I am somewhat puzzled as to how Togo and St Kitts & Nevis came into my head straightaway without thinking about it - it is amazing what lurks hidden away at the back of your brain for several decades!

50/50 👍 Probably would’ve stumped me if you chucked in an oceanic country like Nauru, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji etc because they all look similar. Or if you chose one of the central North American islands like St Lucia. Great test overall though definitely a good quiz for those that don’t do geography quizzes all the time. 😊

Damn St Kitts and Nevis got me at the end but I’ll take 49/50, the other hard ones for me were Togo (thought it could’ve been Benin initially) and Guyana (questioned it being Suriname)

Got, 45 out of 50, could've done better.... The ones I didn't got with this test were: Ghana, Gabon, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Malawi and Congo-Brazzaville....
I only missed five or six. Those "stans" in Central Asia were murder. I didn't know Swaziland had changed its name to Eswatini.

For me, the stans and Balkans were easy. Had a hard time is the Caribbean and Central Africa though.

They've done Taiwan, Palestine, Kosovo flags in the Guess the Country Flag series tho

In quizzes like theese carribean and oceanian countries are hardest thing to do, you usually can remember places of few archipelagos and shapes of countries, but theese are just a bunch of dots on a map and that's it lol

48/50 - Thought I was going to get 100% until St Kitts and Nevis. I also didn't know the new name for Swaziland - Eswatini. I knew that one of the small island nations of the South Pacific or Eastern Caribbean might trip me up. I didn't expect an African nation would... Still, with all 3 quizzes, I managed a total of 148/150, so I'm still pretty happy! :)
I missed Cape Verde, St Kitts and Nevis, and Timor Leste. I would have missed a lot more if there was a bigger focus on Caribbean and Pacific islands

This definitely kicked my butt after only getting 3 wrong on the "easy" version. Here is my strategy with Africa: just keep saying "Tanzania" and eventually it will be correct.

@@jesseviitanen9317 I recently decided to learn them all, including territories that aren't countries and belong to another country. It took me about 3 hours, and I'm not normally that great with memory stuff, but I did have a resonably good knowledge to start with. I use little tricks to help me, for example the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) run alphabetically from north to south. I test myself on the Seterra dot com geography website every week (which is a fantastic resource), just to make sure I can still remember them all. By the way, 50/50 in this test!

of all general areas of the world, I had a hard time with the former Yugoslavia region countries. got one right out of the six or so highlighted. I was right on about half the Africa countries highlighted, same with the Stans. Did well in South America except for Guyana. Confused Eswatini with Lethoso. Overall, i got about 30-32 correct. i didn't keep accurate count. thought i would do a little better.
Let's face it, NO ONE can keep track of Africa, Eastern Europe, or the many 'Stans," let alone all the Caribbean islands.
My 4.5 year old daughter got all 50 countries correct.. I am so proud😋

@@QuizQuack thank you. That's where determination gets you. For like an entire year at school I would practice whenever it was break time (recess) or lunch break. It was travelling that got me into geography. I'd always find it interesting to check on the map and see where we were going.
