Very nice video! The Star is certainly a great little operation, as is the short line they run on. When I saw them for the first time back in August it was just so great to hear and see former Amtrak F40's again!
Love this! Im in Chicago, Its great to see our ex-Metra coaches helping with your service. I hope the MCS is successful and expands. I also hope to visit my old train cars one day! :) I rode these very cars in Metra service A few are still running in Metra service today!
Thank you very much! That is really awesome that you rode these same cars. I really enjoyed riding them. The lady selling the tickets was telling me it wasn't a scenic train ride and it was just for commuters. I felt like I was talking her into selling me a round trip ride. It was fun. lol
Awesome video. I've been a Nashville native pretty much my whole life and I've never ridden this train. I've seen it in route to Mt. Juliet a few times though.
this was a special i think, cabride, atlast, lol.the track was brandnew with welded rails, super.nice film behind the glass.that party bike can you find in Amsterdam to,BEER on board.lol.thaks Brian&Brian.lol.greetz:Peerke. good music to.
spring city tennessee has the old southern line now owned by norfolksouthern wich runs into Chattanooga yard both places are great places to watch trains id like to meet you
Nah, the title is just fine. Hey man, why didn't run down that pedal cruiser at the end? I would have jumped onto that back seat and let those girls pedal me all over town! Can't you see it? There we are, you and me, waving at everybody having an envious look at us. Great vid Brian!!! Thanks for taking us along with you. Cheers, Dan
cool vedio we were just in green vill and Powell Tennessee it was a fun trip just got two train vedios a and one at a place in the great smoky moutains by the way the part of the vedio were you are in the back of the train looks all most like you got a cab ride

There are a lot of cool railroads in the east for you. I have a passenger train video that I am working on that shows over a dozen different passenger trains in the east. I am trying to get it finished so I can have it posted on March 8 at 10:00 am. I always try to have a video posted on Saturdays at 10am.. Thanks for watching!
if you look up trains green vill tennessee there are some cool vedios of a steam train I did not get to see that one but glad to see vedios of it on youtube
Very cool JawTooth! I went took a trip to Nashville and went railfanning for a few hours one afternoon near where the train station is located. Also, the last time I was there, there were a couple Via-Rail Passenger Cars left on a ledge next to a parking lot not far from the train station, you might want to check it out if you like.
I saw them. I stayed 2 nights at the Union Station on the top floor and watched trains from the room. There were some other rail cars there also that were used for offices or something.

Jaw Tooth I a 5-10 minute walk from the main line, if I went to the safe location, if I went to the unsafe location, which is under the Man O War bridge, it's like a 2 minute walk. I hear them all day and all night.
He is my best friend. We have been friends since the 7th or 8th grade. We use to have hair the same length to our waists but I cut mine a couple years ago and donated it. His name is Brian also. Thanks for watching!
Very good system I must say! Though small, they do well for themselves. Best wishes to MCS for a great successful future.

It is real smooth. They fly along on there without a single bump.
@@JawTooth The "newer" budd cars are smoother than the pullmans in this video, they also redid all the tracks on the line

The old metra car's
what's with the bell
Do you catch their door closing announcements?
No
They are the same as Metra's. The Star doesn't have too much budget
Well except for like 2-3 budd cars that have a weird female voice but the pullmans (shown in this video) all have the old metra chime

Why does the bell goes on and off when arriving at some station!
Warning people
nice

Yes! One could run from Georgetown to Danville. If only The freight haulers would play along.
6:01 that guy in the background though
