Yessss I also like that she zooms in really close with the makeup! When I first started doing my makeup I was soooo discouraged when I would see ANY texture or pores on my skin. I wondered why I didn’t look like other people that did their makeup with flawless skin. Then I started to realize that the makeup most beauty gurus do was not practical and not zoomed in and a lot of them also use beauty lights and filters. No one is constantly in front of beauty lights and filters! I loooove that Amanda keeps it real. Texture and pores are ok. Skin is normal lol
@@vermon1112 SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!!!! It actually irritates me that makeup gurus get paid so much money to show makeup in perfect lighting through a filter because anyone can make anything look good in that setting... they’re making money based on nothing real when the whole point of the video is to see what the makeup really looks like on!!!! Ugh it bothers me. At least we can actually rely on Amanda for the TRUTH!!!

Amanda, I'm so glad you did this close up. Considering we look at ourselves close up when we put on our face and see our little nooks and crannies. It is nice to know that our beauty influencers are the same as we are. Thank you very much.

Like others have said, THANK YOU for showing close ups of your bare skin. Seeing pores, redness, freckles, etc are normal. We are all normal!! As for testing new face products, could you please do a review for the Wet n Wild Bare Focus Tinted Hydrator? I’ve heard great things and would love a review on dry skin like mine. Thanks! 😊
I ordered this and tried it out. Like you, I don’t care for full coverage. I didn’t realize it would be full coverage. But that wasn’t my issue with this foundation. My first issue was that I felt like half the tube disappeared by the time I got the first amount out. There must have been a ton of air in the tube. I have somewhat dry skin. I found this very tight and drying. I tried refreshing twice with setting mist and it didn’t really help. I couldn’t wait to take it off. I’ve been so impressed with Elf lately so this is my first disappointment in a while. M going to stick with my ColourPop Pretty Fresh which feels and looks way better.
rlly don’t get how they marked it as full coverage and then had that shade range. I thought the shade range could be improved by adding shades that go lighter (Altho now seeing on your skin maybe the range could cover pale skin) but they don’t have many dark shades so would like them to expand on that!

I was skeptical, too. I would apply with fingers and set with powder for myself. So it might wirk. I really enjoy the It Cosmetics tinted moisturizer.

I always use a sponge for cc creams to get a lighter more skin like medium finish which is my preference-and I mix my cc creams with other foundations to thin it out and love the results-looks great on you🥰💗👏🏼 and so yes on the laundry😂

I was curious about this. I love putting on a tinted moisturizer for a quick makeup look that's easy to apply. This really looks good on you, for my oily skin I would have to put an oil control primer underneath. Thanks for the wear test.

This looks really good! And ELF has some mixer/adjuster products on their site. I use the yellow adjuster for when I buy a foundation that I like and it's too pink.

I got a warm tone shade and woah no! 😂 but I can level it out with concealer and I loved the coverage. I was super hype for this CC cream and it held up for me. Love this video. Grateful for the close ups!!!

If you don't like it with the brush definitely give the damp sponge a try! The brush made it look dry and cakey on me and the sponge makes it look so good. Its my new favorite!

I’m so interested to see how it reacted on your skin bc I did a 3 day wear test and it was soooo bad on my dry skin. 😅
I use those exact 2 shades for a perfect match! I use a damp real techniques sponge to blend out this foundation and for me it does really good. I wasn't a fan of the complexion duo brush.

I’ve heard this stuff compared to the It cosmetics CC cream, a product that has never looked that great on me. I also don’t do well with lots of coverage in a foundation. I don’t have a longing to try this.
I've noticed that CCcreams are thicker than BBcreams, also most of the time CC appears a bit pale than BB.. Have you used a BBcream before? Works for my oily and sensitive skin and I wonder if it works best on dry skin too🤔

I liked it. I like the coverage. Unfortunately, the Octinoxate burned my face, and it took almost 2 weeks to recover. Why companies use chemical sunscreen is beyond me!

I purchased 2 different shades because I wasn't sure which color to get.
I was mesmerized by your eye look and matching nails 😍😍😍😍😍. You look beautiful, the foundation looks like very full coverage so not for me..
It’s funny because I follow another reviewer who has dry skin and she says she loves it. And you have freckles in the same spot as me! I’ve always loved that part of my skin, especially when I get tanner in the summer.
The shade range is bizarre since fair looks darker than my current foundation. But I want to try some CC cream this year since it does have spf usually.
I’m on the edge because $14 is more than my current foundation, and I have oily skin. Although winter it leans more combo. Right now my t-zone is normal/oily and my cheeks go normal/dry. And my acne is deciding to say fuck you lol
Also high key relate to the laundry. My hamper is overflowing but I won’t be able to do it until Wednesday lol
I'm interested in these but i can not buy foundations without swatching, I always think i am way lighter than i am. I've bought 2 since lock down and both are way way to light for me.
It looks super heavy on the skin. This is exactly how most CC Creams look in my skin too. They're way too thick. Thick foundations have the same problem. The thinner the formula is the more natural it looks. Great review btw! Thanks!

Its the IT cosmetic dupe and $14 isn't alot
Considering that literally every single other foundation that elf makes is either $6 or $8... $14 certainly is a lot for an elf product!

I did not like this product at all.I had high hopes. But this is the only foundation I have ever returned to Target.
So this is just a thick full coverage foundation that is meant to piggy back on IT Cosmetics CC cream branding. OK.
Gah! She is FULL coverage my goodness. I prefer a light to medium coverage so I’m going to skip on this. Even sheered out I don’t think it’s going to work for my more mature skin.
That cc cream was horrible on me it was Cakey and thick made me look so old what a waste of 14 dollars can’t return it Since I ordered it online oh well I won’t fall for the hype anymore on UA-cam
Agree, I mix it with my It CC cream and like it better. I too fell for the hype and ordered it through ELF website.. But won’t be repurchasing.
