    dustin has such awesome screams

  • @alexdondero9275
    @alexdondero9275 10 років тому +98

    Dustin's live screams are just like how they are in the studio. Jake's aren't quite the same, but they're still amazing.

    • @orchestrapark
      @orchestrapark 9 років тому +10

      Jake's voice gets really worn down by the end (this being the last song of the concert) due to the strain he puts his throat under when he screams. technically it makes sense but yeah Jake honestly doesn't sound as good as studio, but you have to give him a break

    • @alexdondero9275
      @alexdondero9275 9 років тому +11

      +Jude Flynn Oh no, believe me... No hate towards Jake at all. Like I said in the original comment, his screams still sound amazing. I was just commenting on the fact that Dustin's live screams literally sound EXACTLY like they do on the recordings. Not typically something you hear nowadays.

    • @zach_jaxon
      @zach_jaxon Рік тому

      Dustin has few moments of screaming and Jake is screaming the entire time. Jake probably has to adapt in order to preserve his voice where Dustin can keep doing the same thing throughout every performance.

    This song! It shows so much musicianship. The arrangement primarily. The double voices playing off each other in pitch, contrasting beautifully. The triple guitar setup with Dustin getting involved, it just completes the texture having the third guitar hold that chord sequence underneath the two leads, that JB is a master. The insightful and almost inspiratoinal tone he was trying to get across when writing this for live performances was captured perfectly. Well played August Burns Red, I love your music!

    Seek the Lord and you will find him. God bless has blessed this band for always focusing back to the cross. Amen for that. He has made all provisons for them, and their road will hold a much greater treasure at the end than most others who take credit in themselves.

      Hey they worked their asses off to get where they are today. Don't take that away from them, it was their hard work, talent and the support of their fans made them who they are. I don't see a god buying their records or merch.

    • @fangg97
      @fangg97 9 років тому +5

      Mikhail Baeck Everything is done with God's grace man. They worked hard but God gave them the success as well.

    • @ernie3ls1
      @ernie3ls1 9 років тому +5

      Batman Baker Well that's nice. He went out of his way to help a band, I'm sure the children in Africe appreciate that as well.

    • @fangg97
      @fangg97 9 років тому +6

      Mikhail Baeck So this is a long response so buckle your seat belt cuz imma take you for a ride. So before sin entered the world life was perfect yeah? No sin and Adam and Eve lived in paradise in The Garden of Eden. But after the fall of man, sin entered the world and we were separated from God. Being a perfect being above us, God cannot be in the presence of sin. So we were separated from him. Now since we were separated from him and cast out into the world as sinners, bad things happen. Without sin in the world there would be no hunger no poverty or pretty much anything bad. Follow me so far?
      Sin is the cause of every man's struggle, because we are separated from God and perfection. So that is why there are starving children in Africa (and why just mention children, adults need food to haha). The bible says that "But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
      God wants us to come to him and be with him someday eternally in heaven. Now this doesn't mean that because you are a christian you have an easy life. As a christian we still sin and therefore cannot achieve perfection.
      As to why God allowed a band to become famous but there are still starving people in Africa that is where I acknowledged that they did work hard. These people were born in America where we are privileged to do anything we want to.They worked hard for this and in reward for there hard work, God allowed them to have success in his music.

      Jacob Butler I fucking hate Christians like you. All preachy and judgmental. You think you're actually going to go to heaven when you die just because you do something bad and you beg yor god for forgiveness. Hah. There's no such place. It was created as a reward to balance out the punishment of going to hell by a great ruler who realized that religion is a great way to instill order. You'll come to find in time that your god isn't real, just as the Vikings, the Greeks and the Romans did. You ever notice how all relgions have a punishment and reward system... Weird right? And they were created with human-like concepts. Heaven, for example, is based completely around humans. They say that god created the heaven and the earth for us, and created us in his image, which doesn't even fit in modern society, where we know what the universe is and that it goes on, virtually, forever at the speed of light. All of these things have been tested and proven. None of it is faith-based because it can PHYSICALLY be proven. Your god cannot be proven, nor can many of the events written in the bible. If it weren't for the people who branched out from religion for the belief of science, which was outlawed and considered the work of the devil, the society and comforts you now have would never have existed. Think about hospitals, cars, electricity, planes... None of it would have been possible without someone proving the church wrong, and now it's all accepted as truth. If we would have gone with religion when we were battling Rabies or Smallpox, those virus's would still be out there, ravaging our society. Yet even with all that information, you'll still blindly follow that which provides no proof of it's existence or societal value. If anything, religion is a curse. Virtually every war since the beginning of written history has been about religious differences. they estimate that 10% of every human that has ever been alive was killed by a christian. Doesn't sound too "peace-loving" to me.. Sounds more like a backwards mind game, where you're being used as a puppet.
