"don't get hit" by a skill is as useful as "don't die"…. if you really want to counter ice for example, simply air camp, avoid touching the ground or try to bait by touching the ground for a second. for portal, play agro, try to be as aggressive as possible.. what this does is confuse most portal users, the z skill will be harder to land, the skills in general and if they use v, try to land gh c (if ur using it) before they enter the portal gate or simply aoe/ranged skills, maybe even stun skills which will make them miss their sg x. against dough, use ken after their gh c and dough x combo, u can ken their x when it was already hit. that way u will ken their dough c. if they land their v, just run and tp, after v they high likely use c so DON'T ken it unless u know they don't use c or already used it. against leos, just try to be ranged and fight in the air. against dragon, aircamp and thats pretty much it, if they use gh c, ken their spikey x. against spirit, ken their v, be fast and thats it, spirit users rely on their v and stay in distance, they will spam their z, x and c… against kitsune, avoid the distance, dodge their c and attack right after they miss it. x is kenable and z, just avoid it as much as possible, if it lands just run as far as possible, its stuns u. tbh don't even fight a kitsune if yk hes gonna use the transformation and run, don't waste your time

Yea, i used chop against a awk dough user (i had fruit stats btw) and i killed him and he said "Im 200 lvls lower than you" "Ur using chop for sword imunity" "U got more bounty than me" when i only had 4.9Mil bounty

For dough you can also use a big aoe move that does DOT and spam it right when you see 2 circles.
Tip here when encounter a portal player, when they use portal x use soul guitar x so they cannot reach you to combo
one technique I use often to avoid the c move is flash stepping behind them because it takes them a really long time to do a 180 turn
Actually i use mink to dodge doughs attacks. That along with using t rex and it's tick damage and then it'll make that combo difficult to pull off. Venom and it's tick damage is good too

Best way to counter beast fruits (except dragon): since they will literally just follows you everywhere. Just lure them into your soul guitar X/ice V. Make sure your combo unescapeable and really strong cause they have the transformation buff.

To kitsune you have to stay far, stay out of reach, they don't have too much range on the C move, it'll annoy them so much
If you're using a close range fruit, try to be close but in air, but still keep a good distance in air, try to always be above them and they will miss everything, to counter kitsune just imagine you're in fortnite

portal: use chop
dough: kentricks
ice: air (not skycamp), prediction for v, chase when they miss
dragon: kentrick spikeytrident x, or kentrick when they hit their x
kitsune: dont bother
leo: ice, dough is best fruit to counter
i almost killed a kitsune with the ice fruit as my main weapon

A thing I always do when I get caught in portal V is to exit the realm sooner than the opponent and reposition myself, not many people know you can willingly exit the dimensional rift. it's a trick I have invested and mastered myself, and you should too.
Cyborg is good for dough v, you can counter men trick while using ice if you're smart. For portal x keep your distance and if they can't play in the air go in the sky while their inside it might help a little.
Spirit... the first advice was best, I used to use it and half of my combos worked for long range anyways and kitsune just end the fight before they transform.
Tip for fighting spirit (as a 30mil spirit main) their biggest weakness is cooldowns if they miss they have long cooldowns, the x move can be ken tricked and the first move randomly shoots you a good chance of the time so the c and v are all you need to really worry about
As a 25M, something that works well for me against Dough C is just to go in the air as soon as I see it. Easy escape.
Best counter for doughs users its attack make damage per sec (like cyborg,rengoku,buddy sword,spirit)
I was using portal and if your a dough user you can hit the v move before the leave the domain to keep them in, if they stay in they lose energy and no one else can join the fight after a couple seconds I think so it makes a more fair fight
Second: also sound abilities are the most dangerous to pvp reason why use dragon talon, dragon trident, soul guitar and sound and try to pvp with it (recommend race for that build cyborg , human and ghoul).

Kitsune counter is ez like if ur a sword main use dragon trident and the old godhuman or sanguine combo and if ur a fruit main and u have a sword in ur combo u gotta sacrifice the sword combo and use dragon trident again! Use x and ur combo and kitsune is dead
quick tip dough c godhuman z and c ice v portal z and dragon x can all hit at the same time you hit rengoku z and dragon talon z have also 90% of swords ( have hun with this info ) if you want a more detailed explanation just ask

pro tip: dough spammers have horrible aim since they're used to their busted ahh pastry river move, so just keep your distance and wait for them to waste it then go in and combo them

when the player uses dough C i switch my ken on and sky camp until its done, for dough Z people spam this move for free damage so whenever i know my opponent has the move then i turn of my ken and if i know the move is in cooldown i turn on ken back for dough X ( ground ) people usually play this move when they wanna keep distance from u pretty easy to counter as most times ur opponent will most likely not be able to land it, dough X ( air ) pretty easy just keep distance from the opponent during the move u will most likely have ken trick off cooldown so u can turn it on so u can avoid the following moves they will make pretty much the same for dough V just keep your eyes pealed and keep away as much as possible.

Someone said the running was crazy and I said thats just movement. He didnt respond after that probably because he didn't want to reason with me or something but thats not running right? The white bar at the top of your screen can counter any fruit.

Use it
Such a gigachad for not putting music in background
I main light and use cyborg. This is usually how I counter for spam fruits
Dough- When they use dough V I use cyborg race skill/save my Ken
Ice- Just fight from a distance and if you need to stay in the air when it’s obvious they’re trying to use Ice V
Portal- Predict what they’ll do. Use soul guitar X if you think they’re going to use Z on you. If they use X and you’re on cooldown get distance. Most portal users are trash players who don’t know how to Ken trick well so you can get a combo on them and if they start running don’t bother chasing.
Leopard- Stun and do a 1 shot combo or do mini combos until they get die or leave you alone
Dragon- Ken trick. If you want to avoid their dragon C just stay in the air or use a move right when they start using C.
Spirit- Fight from a distance and save Ken because they’ll usually try to use spirit C on you. Spirit Z and X don’t break Ken
Kitsune- Stun and save your Ken. If they run again don’t bother chasing it’s not worth it. They’ll run spam moves on you and then finally go to you when you’re low.
At the end of the day you need to learn to Ken trick and sometimes you should air camp. Who cares what the other person says when they are using unskilled tactics to win.
spirit z breaks instinct but it has no combo compatiblity
Spirit v is escapable if your using portal
Spirit Z does break ken, and they usually use X as a finisher so your best bet is to air camp and stay ranged
i know how to ken trick but i always forget other fruits moves and which ones break instinct
Tips on portal X move just use a move with big Aoe cuz 90% of portal user use portal X to get close to you and stun of possible or if ur using beast fruit just transform cuz u have good chance surviving combo cuz beast type give defense buff

How do i counter dough users?
My build always included with cyborg race...so when i get cought by dough v i imedetly activate v3 to avoide the v damage...and the rest is depends on if you are (dark/rumble/pain) user...you can use the f skill to avoid the c skill or you can stunn your opponent as well

We only need 1 portal also I main dough and the best time to counter dough is in piercing clothesline after you get slammed down activate haki and just air camp because unskilled dough users don’t know how to counter it but if there good with dough they will
U can cancel dough V once he started it even if he it hits u just quickly use a move any to hit him then ull cancel ❌ it
so i think the most useful tactic is use magma and adding with your information soo make me good right?

The most annoying fruit is kitsune cause when u have the form u just run and spam the m1 and the c move and when u get combo u just run
I went from portal to dough to flame back to dough and it’s all really boring “besides flame”.

you can actually escape/cancel dough V because as long as the dough user takes damage the move cancels so if you just do a cyborg v3 it cancels and you can entirely escape

Whenever someone uses dough C, I usually just jump and make them stop using it
I use dough mainly because I had just finished whole cake island at the time I got it and katakuri is hype, in fact I am so bad that even with dough I still lose.

Ice:Skycamp(Just Ignore Them Saying "Skycamper!!")
Leo: Don't Get Hit/Avoid Attacks;Since They're Attacks Are Short range(Mostly Their Moves Can Stun And then They will Spam then Finish you,and can Break Ken too)
Kitsune:Go Skycamp then Use E.Claw [C] Which Brings you On surface really quick Then Repeat,If they're On Transform Use a Sword That Has 2 Mobility For Example: "Yama" or Long Mobility Sword: "CDK" Just Spam It Up)
More:You cant Outrun This Kit Users But You can Just Trick them)
Dragon:Just Stay Away From Them,Their C move Is Very Short Range,But to Avoid Getting Comboed From It Go Skycamp Since it Just Evaporate/Disappear;If they're On Transform,Then They're using The C again,Go Skycamp...
