Thank you so much for sharing some of his artwork! I really wish he had an instagram or other social media or website where we could view more of his work. I live in a different country, so I am unable to visit his gallery, but it would definitely be a treat to be able to do so. I bet it was so amazing getting to spend time with him and seeing and hearing about his work. It was also super kind of him to gift all of those awesome art supplies to you-especially the painting for you to finish! Being acknowledged and encouraged by an artist of his skill must feel amazing! I hope that you stay in touch with him, and even possibly build a good friendship with him. How Wonderful of meet an artist that you appreciate. And then to have him look at your work. The most amazing part is his liking your work so much that he gives you an unfinished painting to complete. That shows what confidence he had in your abilities with paint and paper.
@@antoniocabrero I would be as well. You could get a copy of it printed on watercolor paper. Or draw/ trace it first then play with the copy before you finish the real one, maybe? Just throwing out an idea. BUT...ypu are a wonderfully talented painter. I am certain you will do it justice. I have a drawing of a girl I photographed 20 years ago ghat I am "afraid" to paint. I think all artist go through this.
