- The truck in this video is 100% stock other than the exhaust and the Spectre Air intake. This is an older video I filmed this summer. It isn't much but I thought some people would enjoy it! I hope it helps y'all out when your selecting an exhaust for your truck! The video doesn't do justice! Its perfect for daily driving and sounds amazing! When your cruising through town the turbos just whistlin, and when your merging onto a highway you get to hear that awesome 7.3 Growl if you roll your windows down!

I'm almost afraid to do the 1.5,I'm still on stock injectors and get an honest 18 on the slab, engine at 306k, love your videos my friend 😁🙂
Thanks man appreciate it! Yeah I got stock injectors still too and with the rods in these later model 7.3s depending how you drive the larger injectors can definitely worry a guy.
really like those wheels
Nice truck sounds great!, were did you get your fender flares from and what size tires a d rims with offset? Is that a 4 inch lift
Nice do you get better fuel economy? thanks
Yeah I did get better fuel economy after the exhaust. Cold air intake helped too.
hey, dieselneck, was that a giant roll up wall the truck was backed up to at the start of the video?
Kinda yeah. It’s called a bifold door. It’s the door on our shop. It splits in half as it opens up. It’s 44ft wide and about 20 feet tall.
Where’d you get the front grill?
My uncle bought it before. It’s an insert. You cut the bars off of the factory grill and put the insert in. Pretty sure he ordered it from TDot performance it’s a Canadian site.
Do the 7.3s have a drone in the cab like the Cummins do when you strait pipe them? Example at highway speeds or when getting on it?
If you have a stack definitely but it’s not horrible with a straight pipe
Kinda a given to have somekind of drone in these
Do you have a tuner on it as well? I just picked up the same exhaust with the php hydra and haven’t installed it yet but I already have the S&B intake so I’m curious to know the mpg increase with all 3 mods
In the video it was just exhaust and intake. I now have a PHP Hydra with custom tunes from SDK and I get amazing fuel economy.
@@dieselneckgarage6568 what do you avg
Links to product sources please.
Yo hope you see this! I got an 01 cold air intake, straight piped should I get a down pipe is it safe
My exhaust came with a 4 inch downpipe. I recommend it. Anything to get more flow out of that engine will decrease egts and provide more power.
Is that a stock turbo?
Yes it is.
Nice. I've never heard mine drive by or being drove by anyone else so the only thing I ever hear is it idling across a parking lot or something but most of the time the 5 Inch makes it sound like your saying bombbombombombomb hahaha. I love it and I'll catch myself making fun of it sometimes and people look at me like I'm crazy 😂
What kind of rims is that ?
They are moto metal 20x12 with -44 offset! Can’t remember on the exact model number though.
Классно так
I’m not understanding how you can justify this as a cat back exhaust system when all that is a straight pipe😂
It’s not a cat back. It’s a turbo back. 7.3s don’t have cats. The whole pipe is larger than the factory pipe.
You just lose power with the full 4inch without proper tuning even more lost with a dual exhaust .. even if you tune it you'd get more power stock with the exhaust waste wide open ...
How
@@garlicbread5320 UA-cam it you'll find 1000 ways that aren't the way lol
That is an old false myth, but you search the internet long enough you will find enough people saying it. However that does not make it true, anyone who claims it does because it messes with back pressure eats paint chips in my opinion.
@@johnarnold5739 If anything less backpressure would be better right? Cause the turbo can spool faster?
I would agree with you
