If someone was to buy a property in a village location and was able to obtain a TRP, is remote working for another country allowed? I.e. continue working with the company i already work for in the Uk but remotely from Belarus?
Most of my clients work remotely. For the rest you are most welcome to take a paid consultancy once your plan is solid. We actually have a house ready for the residency application.

Second point, the law states that if you spend more than 6 months of the year outside of Belarus or obtain a third country’s residency permit or get more than 2 administrative fines your permit will be cancelled.
Yes in theory but in practice not always true. I had a yearly residency because i bought a house and was only visiting belarus for 2 months a year without problems for years. Now married and a kid and bought other properties and have a permanent residency and still only living 2 months in belarus. I guess its a case by case, wheb renewal if you have money in belarusian bank, support your family there, have properties....never had any fine..., renting houses only by cobtracts and paying invome taxes on time.most likely they are disgarding the short period living in minsk, maybe cz i have a kid there....
Regarding the TRP, a lawyer said yes 180 days in belarus is a must. The OGIM, then disgarded this because the ground for getting the TRP was the purchase of the house, since until i ownes the house, the ground for getting the TRP was justufied and renewed without problems for many years.But no mater what, they can anytime find a reason for not renewing. Just stay away from problems and never drink and drive there. Some people are lucky, and for some they can ask to show how you support yourself, or have money in bank.st one time they calculated usubf belarusian minimal wage how much money is needed for a year, and had to show them i have this amount ready in a belaeusan bank. For now they even told me they dont needed, but a need a paper showing my income living abroad. Its a case by case scenario... Last year tried to apply for belarusian passeport and got kicked uout nicely from their office, i showed renting contracts and income taxes...they said for us its not considered invome when you only buy and rent houses here. I left because they became quite frustrated..)
