Love the video, I am reminded of what I tell my guitar students, that they shouldn't consider music hard to learn, that they should always consider it a new challenge and to look upon it with fresh, curious eyes. Works really well and my turnover is great but I am still having a lot of trouble getting more students. Thanks for the reminders Damon.

take your own advice with the "lot of trouble getting more students". You have a big challenge finding new students. Be careful how you speak to yourself.

Thank you so much for this. I have issues with validation even though I’m a coach and I found this extremely useful. Once again thank you.

    1. An awesome background!
    2. So many great nuggets in the video! I had some ah-ha moments while listening to you. One of them was re-realization of how important Value Elicitation is. I’ve been trying to figure out why one of the transformations wasn’t sticking. So this morning I decided to do a Value Elicitation around this quality/word. I didn’t think to do this before cuz it’s such a simple word, so the definition of this quality seemed obvious. But oh man, once I finished V.E. and got clear about what “I” needed to see, be, do to be this quality for “me”, the transformation work from before totally and instantly sank in and I felt so Q! I didn’t realize without this clarity, my locus of control was still outside, hence transformation didn’t really feel solid. Mind blown how a simple thing like this can trip up the whole thing!!🤯🤩✨ More examples flooded in too as the locus of control shifted to internal!
A similar thing happened during Nate’s call week6 last night while tuning up my sure quality as well. As soon as I transformed my biggest CE with newly added resources, a huge realization hit me that I can decide when to be Q and when not to be using those new resources. And me not being this Q 24/7 has nothing to do if I'm Q or not. It is logically obvious but to actually feel this realization in my body was really empowering (Speaking of locus of control, this was an awesome personal win moment)! Ok, my comment got long, but wanted to say, Self-Concept is pretty amazing!!

great video...it is so natural to feel down when rejected for job, fired etc.... at least the first reaction is hurt... but then through work on the matter, we will move the locus of control back to us... :)

3:34 "It has nothing to do with being good enough or worthy enough".
I understand that, yet, to my psyche, not having a positive feedback (or validation) from someone that I fancy means that I am not good or worthy enough for that particular person.
I don't know wether it's a result of poor parenting job or just my ego, but it's killing me sometimes. I really wish I could handle the emotional turmoil. Consciously, I realize what I'm experiencing in real time, but it doesn't help, so I just succumb under it. Damn.

Most people are the same. Now that you know this, you can begin the journey of changing it. It's a worthwhile journey that will open your life up. You can do it.

Yeah I could have been more explicit about the techniques in this video. I go over Values & Criteria. I inserted some Meta Model Questions. And I talked about the Meta Program called Locus of Control.

When we open the training again you will need to take an assessment to see if you qualify. You don't need to have the model mastered but you need to be familiar with all aspects of it.
