My dog woke me up at 3am to go in the backyard. I opened the door and could smell that a skunk has been nearby in the night. Last night we filmed a cute raccoon eating our cat food on our front porch so maybe he was the one that caused the skunk to set a boundary. We are definitely feeling closer to the critters in our neighborhood. I love this animal deck for special messages from Spirit. (My dog’s name was already “Spirit” when we adopted him 8 years ago and he has definitely reminded me that I have a loving “copilot” always with me) I need a bumper sticker that says “Spirit is my copilot” … so literally and figuratively TRUE.

Today would have been my dad’s 90th birthday, but he transitioned 34 years ago. It’s been a rough ride, and today I’m feeling particularly sad. I wanted to thank you for these daily cards and messages. They keep me looking up. I especially appreciate the example you used with chocolate cake. I know I am a creator, but never made the connection until this message that what I choose to eat “creates” an effect in my body, which deeply impacts my mind and spirit. So thank you for that! 💚
Ginette, I haven't seen a skunk, ha, but I had to come back and share. I did a bit of intention seeking with meditation and spirit this morning and spirit referenced weaving three separate times. The idea of weaving a blanket with each of us connecting in with one another to become part of a whole, using our threads to connect into each other's experience and to gain so much love and peace through this. I did appreciate the skunk analogy on Monday. I was thrown off by someone's poor behavior and reacted instead of responding in my normal, sweet way. I wouldn't be surprised if a skunk needs recovery time after they expell their defense mechanism.
