We fought them pretty much every morning alongside my cousins and best friend all of which didn't make it past 18 years of age. I had a strong Father and Mother who stayed on me and I eventually went to the Marine Corps. Saved my life. Semper Fi🫡

But it took me yeaaars to be able to get off drugs nd alcohol . I was a full blown addict by 19 . I’m clean and sober now but it’s a struggle every day .
Keep up the fight I been clean 8 years. Almost took me out and away from my kids forever. It's a struggle and it will always be, but so worth it. Congrats on your sobriety 🎉
For me they were my family I’m a grandma now and I have relocated to onther state I was lucky to have that option I’ve been gone from LA FOR 30 YEARS “ I had gotten my children tooken away from me there it was hard to get them back in LA it was then I realized I could possibly lose my parental rights that scared me so I decided to go where my mom was and that was her reservation she is Native American I came here and left my kids in LA i worked with social services here and did interstate compact it took 9months to get my children sent here with me it was the best decision I’ve ever made I raised 6 children here who have all graduated I have 3 daughters who are police officers 2 of them are twins I’m so proud of them I never talk to them about my past
all gang documentaries should be like this, because i can see kids watching Gangland episodes, and be like wow thats so cool because in Gangland episodes, it's so much more fast paced with glamourising the lifestyle, but this documentary was so boring and depressing that makes people say yeah wtf is the point, i don't wanna get involved lol

It’s sounds like the girls were on their way back to Vicky’s Town. That bridge is a pedestrian bridge that goes right over the 10 freeway and leads right back into Vicky’s Town. That hill section is right above Vicky’s Town and I guess you could call it City Terrace
