I’m getting mine installed on January 22nd and have shorter fine hair. It would be awesome to see styling a client with shorter hair, especially how to blend the top and underneath sections where it can become obvious where your hair ends and the extensions begin.

Make sure your clip the underneath part of your natural hair up, and in the middle too, to hide your natural hair. Hopefully that made sense 😬

I tried doing this technique on myself and it was way more confusing than I thought it would be! It looks so easy! Plus I’m not used to having long thick hair. Definitely takes longer to curl. I just started playing around with a curling wand instead of an iron. That seems easiest.

Hi McKenzie! I love the videos! I’m a client of Cassadi and I’d love to see a video blending shorter hair. I’m wearing 3 rows of IBE 18” and my top hair is tough to blend when doing these waves. I’d love a tutorial!
Hey!! we love Cass! This is such a great idea, we have it on our list to shoot... thank you for your feedback. When you are curling just make sure to curl those top pieces in with your extensions. Also, don't leave the ends straight at the top like you would at the base, it needs to blend into the curl or wave pattern of the rest of your hair as well. But we will shoot a tutorial because this is a great idea.
Hi , let me start off by saying how much I love your videos , you are my favourite hair stylist to watch .. my personal question is : should brand new hand tied 22” extensions have broken rough feeling hair all along the length? And should the ends be stringy , rough feeling with split ends and a micro amount of thickness compared to the top extension base ?

We recommend a 1inch barrel for this look. Heat settings are dependent on your current state of hair and it is best to ask your hair stylist 😊
I wish you would’ve told us where you have separated your sections … did you take each row separately or include the natural hair above or below in the sections ? I have a hard time making mine look blended

Hello. What temperature should the curling iron or flat iron be set on? I think I scorched my ends.
Oh no! Be sure to use a heat protectant and use an iron that you can change the temperature, usually 300°-350°.

I keep hearing/reading you have to brush your hair a lot with extensions so they don’t mat. How do you do that while keeping this wave for a week? Just at the wefts?

I have a question, is the marcel in the locked position or unlocked? In the video it looked like you had it locked and would use both hands to kind of unwind.

I’ve had my extensions in for a week now. I washed them for the 1st day Wednesday and they have gone so frizzy and tangled, do you know what I may have done wrong? I used sulfate free and paraffin free shampoo/conditioner too. Also I’ve just purchased the curling tong you use. My hair is naturally short and frizzy! Hoping it’s not too difficult to curl your way 😬 x
Hey girl! I’m certainly no expert, but my stylist had me pick up a leave in conditioner called Crackhead, it’s in a baby blue tube. It can also be used on dry hair. I also use an Argan oil leave in conditioner, especially on the ends, called Argan magic hair cream. I use Tweak’d hair cleanser that I get from QVC or HSN, I’m sorry, I can’t remember which one. When I don’t use the Tweak’d, I use Matrix Total Results length goals shampoo & conditioner. Sometimes I use Biolage sleek spray in a yellow bottle. I hope this helps! I do know that keeping extensions conditioned is a must so they don’t dry out & get fuzzy. 🙂
Hey!! It could be the quality of the hair extensions but here are some suggestions.
Use a high quality shampoo conditioner, something designed for hair extensions. We suggest using a detangler and also using a leave in conditioner. You’ll want to use a clear oil, one that does not have a tint to it because that can alter the color of your hair extensions. You’ll want to apply 3-5 pumps of oils once a day to your hair extensions.

I just got these extensions. Every time I use keying Murphy it makes my hair like crunchy What am I doing wrong ? I also watched your washing video and did that My hair never looks like this 😞.
Hey! Are you using any oil on your hair extensions? We recommend applying oil every single day. Are you using any clarification products? This can suck the moisture out of them hair as well.
