Schroeder is a great player! Good defender! High IQ! Warriors are lucky to have him with low price. Lakers should be #1 in Western Division, if the keep Dennis, but Lakers are Cheap!
I'm ticked at the Lakers for not going bring him back. He wants to win and plays like it. We need more of that on our team. There's just too many bright light, steak dinner dudes on my soft team. Good move GS. You're getting a fighter!
I feel like they tried to tax us, and it would’ve took dlo or gave Vincent and 3 2 round picks, that’s to much for somebody who turned out 4 year 80 m offer while he had the chance
the Lakers have no money and they have no draft picks they can't get anybody. LeBron is the reason for this because he made the lakers front office trade everybody for Russell Westbrook and AD in the Lakers are still paying for that.
No trade will be as good as the one Bobby Marks made when he was with the Nets. That trade set the Nets up for a bright future after getting Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. I don’t know what Boston was thinking with that trade.
It's crazy that the NBA saw one of the things that made it a year round follow and encouraged excitement and engagement (player movement) and just absolutely torpedoed it bc 29 other teams were just too afraid of the Warriors front office. Congrats CJ McCollum 👏
I agree. The NBA offseason and Trade deadline were some of the most exciting times of the year. They just keep making the league less and less interesting every season smh.
I dont agree with the tanking in NBA. It needs to be changed. There should be no incentive to lose. Thats just dumb. Give the bottom 5 from each conference something like a higher cap until the season after they are out of the bottom 5. That will incentivize them to sign, not lose every game for the next 3 months
Yea I’m good with rewarding playoff teams with the more odds for lotto picks and the bottom teams maybe getting a higher cap but not rewarded with the best picks for sucking on purpose.
@@lakritz1987 honestly yea. It got to a point where teams tank on purpose every year. They’re not even trying. It’s a horrible product to watch. They can improve through a temporary increase in cap space and maybe not be rewarded with picks like Wemby and Flag. Between the tanking and rigging games to produce desired outcomes through questionable officiating, and owner politics, it ends up turning people off.
Look, they rushed the trade for Dennis so that they are eligible to include him in a multi player trade later this season. Had they traded for him after 16th Dec., they could not have included him in a trade in which they are giving up multiple players. GS clearly acquired Dennis as a trade chip, as they are big game hunting. Or do you really believe they d be content with a Dennis Schroeder?! That’s clearly not enough to be a contender
it was a salary dump for brooklyn if they're tanking they might as well do it in a cheaper way meanwhile the warriors would give anyone a 100M contract
@@ChannelRandy the point is they're not gonna be thinking about resigning him he is easily worth 80M right now then if they gonna resign and trade him they still gotta match the salary. Again it was a salary dump.
This wasn’t a salary dump…. They have matching salaries and they both expire after the season. A salary dump is trading away a player on a multi year contract for a player on an expiring contract.
@@GSP-v6d what do you think dennis worth after this season? 70-80million 4 years? Rather than waiting for him to walk away they traded him now for something. It is a salary dump in the future.
@ They traded him to help the team now OR use him as a trade piece to net a bigger star. His expiring contract is valuable for any team looking to SHED payroll. Also known as a salary dump. Your “salary dump for the future” theory doesn’t make any sense… If he stays he’s an unrestricted FA. He could go anywhere at the end of the year. If someone threw out a 4 year $80 million dollar contract, I’m sure Dunleavy would tell him to have a nice life. The Warriors can’t match that. That ship sailed for Dennis anyway. He had the opportunity to accept that extension from the Lakers for $80 million. He’s a 31 year old journeymen at this point. He’s a solid backup PG. He’ll get something along the lines of 3 years and $40-50 million range if I had to guess.
Golden State’s acquisition of Dennis Schroder is a smart, proactive move, addressing their need for depth and playmaking amid injuries and poor form.
More than anything Dennis is a better asset than an injured Melton. I guess Dennis will be moved on more time this season
Curry green pod moody depth 😅ok okay
I think the Lakers fumbled on that 80mill contract extension for Dennis 😂
Nope shroder is very streaky. He has his highs and lows
@@mrawesome7175they replaced him with gabe vincent... so yes they fumbled 😂
Looking on hindsight I think they do fumble scroeder is way better than Vincent and d

New game... How often does he say 'certainly' per video?
30x
17 this one
I was already at 16x half way thru
Based on the transcript, it feels like "certainly" is Bobby Marks' favorite word. I counted at least 10 times in this video alone!
If you like games, I’d definitely recommend watching the Draymond Green Show and counting how many times Baron Davis says “you know what I mean?”
