The Parable of the Wedding Feast
In the Parable of the Wedding Feast verse 14 is the most important verse needed to be given meaning to! 14 “For many are invited to the kingdom of God, but few are chosen, who gladly accept the invitation and prepare properly. "
The first question is who are those who are many who were invited? The answer from the reading of our parable is that in the end ~all were invited!
The second question needed to answer is who are the chosen who will gladly accept the invitation and prepare properly? The chosen ones (this is by God) are those who accept the invitation with gratitude and prepare their selves according to His commandments! Third question is who are those who are going to be send away from the wedding because of not wearing a proper wedding garment? The proper garment needed here is Divine Baptism.
[Galatians 3:27] “You were baptized into union with Christ, and now you are clothed, with the life of Christ himself”. The proper garment talked about needed for the wedding is Christ Himself (union with Christ) ! This is how Paul describes His personal experience, as being part taken with the Lord. [Gal 2:20] So that it is no longer I who live but it is Christ who lives in me”
This kind of a supernatural union of God with man however could not possibly take place by man’s authority without a Divine consent and intervention. This is why the Church was created by the Holy Spirit the day of Pentecost by special canons (rules) divinely begotten enabling Lord Jesus being the Head of the Body the Church

1st canon: How to ordain a Bishop
Being the head of the body the Church Lord Jesus is able to fill everything with His omnipresent presence and grant everything to all his creations. [Effesians 1: 22 - 23]
22 And he put all things in subjection under his feet. And this glorious Lord made him head of the Church, above all. 23 And this Church is his body, the complement of Christ, as a man and as the head of the Church; of Christ, who as infinite God fills everything with his omnipresent presence and grants everything to all his creations
In Mahew 22:12 we read: “12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? (The King informs the quest with out a garment that “you should have been honored by the honor (the invitation) I gave you and should had try to find such a garment in order to be able to attend the wedding”!
For those not having proper Baptism (wearing the proper garment) knowing God personally remains the same as before the coming of our Lord and the therapy (from sin) provided by the Church beginning with Baptism, where no man could see Go and live! [Exodus 33:20] And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
    The consequences
Mathew 22:13 “13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The servants will be taking those showing up without garments (Baptism) to a place that is unknown to them blind folding them hand and foot. The outer darkness is a description of a ~spiritual death~ which is a description of the ~eternal separation of man from God~! The weeping and gnashing of teeth will be a self inflicting condition when knowing the glory of His Saints and recollecting all the times in their lives having a chance to wear the needed garment that would have changed their eternal relationship relationship with God.
