Yeah, Gadget Finger is immensely strong, but it doubtless is that way due to all of the movement options in _Blazblue_ that just doesn't have and due to how utterly abysmal Iron Tager was in the first game. Of course, part of that latter thing was in part due to Nu in general just oppressing everyone else, Tager just got it the worst of everyone (except Ragna in story-mode). Still, it's nice to see grapplers actually be usable in game, even if _AC_ Potemkin is miserable to play against, rather than have them (or any other character) essentially just be a virtual dead space in the game. Bro... if you're gonna tell us in that silent text that Big Band is a grappler, you better be able to tell us what makes that over sized unga boy a grappler.
Any thoughts on 3D non-big body grapplers like King/Armor King in Tekken? They build their offense on throws, can move and space just as fast and effectively as any other character, and are nothing about having patience to get that one big throw. Throws are constant, and it's about the opponent reading the setup and ducking or breaking said throws to avoid them.
Its fun when people are so scared of getting grabbed that they would rather eat 40 or 50 percent trying to upback when I haven’t even grabbed the entire match
I ended up picking up Tager a week ago, was a mediocte Naoto player, and now I'm the resident bully with magnetism It's actually dumb how fun the character is
Big Band isn't a grappler, he actually has movement options (look at brass knuckles, his supers and pretty decent dash) and does not rely on grabs or command grabs nearly as much as your average grappler.
The most fair grapplers in fighting games have to be Waldstien from Under Night In-Birth and King from Tekken. King goes without saying as one of the hardest grapplers to pick up and play correctly and Wald has very limited tools to deal with everyone in the game while also having good grab routes that don't insta kill everyone. Love them both to death.
Rushdown players have a meltdown when you jab them out of a pressure string. Zoner players throw their controller when they misinput one projectile. Grappler players will be at 2% health and a full screen distance away and still confidently think 'Yeah, all I need is one grab and the round's as good as mine.'

I tried my damndest to prove that these characters were some of the best(if in some cases the hardest to play) in their games. Goh and Stun are the hardest characters to play imo with El Blaze being the easiest(he's not slow like most grapplers as a High Flying Luchador type grappler). Goh has limited, slow and simple strikes with weird ways to initiate grapples that frankly are hard to pull off more than just his basic grabs.
