Studying Michelle, as always!!! I did try my first bloom ever in the trinket tray the other day the alcohol inks do not spread so I’m gonna have to try with a different brand. It definitely isn’t as easy as it looks. Thank you for sharing and sharing all your tips.

"Seriously Shimmery" has blue and green colors. "Shimmer" has green, yellow and speck of purple. "Rainbow Shimmer" has the rainbow.

This came out beautiful.
Petra Gerbracht recently did a similar style bloom except she poured the outer edge mica after doing the bloom and I think she used a metallic powder if I remember correctly. It came up over the bloom and ended up becoming the backing color. It sometimes amazes me how small changes can sometimes create such different effects. ❤

I’m thinking a backcoat wouldn’t add to it. It’s really pretty the way it is. And, that little tip of putting a color in the rim and going over it a bit is great!

I got this tray, and I'm so glad you didn't do a backing on it, as I love it just the way it is! I think both sides of the tray came out beautifully. I'm also glad you didn't do it green either, as purple is one of my favorite colors and this shade of purple is exquisite! I think what you did with the petals was nice as it made them look kind of frilly. I'm like you, I like the petals to be more opaque. You did a beautiful job!

Since you don’t like the little plastic cups why not use the small silicone cups.? Just wipe out with a baby wipe when your done.

Michelle, you’re doing wonderful with these blooms. I’m so glad you found her. I found her a few weeks ago also and I finally accomplished doing one perfect blue Oum. I haven’t tried again that’s why only one lol. Can you please tell me where to get those diamond things you put on the keychains they are beautiful and I have been looking for something like that.

@@NicksMommy86 I buy my charms from Amazon and and Temu, a lot are mailed to me by viewers as well. Sometimes I glue rhinestones to my charms but they don’t sell them like that.

I am new at using resin I love watching you but I don’t know how to measure to use resin can you help me
I measure resin by volume. I use pre marked cups in ounces. I'm usually using 1:1 resin so if I need 6 fluid ounces I pour to the 3 oz line with A and the 6 oz line with B. If it's 2:1 ratio (deep pour) I would do 4 oz of one and 2 oz of the other. I hope I didn't confuse you. If you are new stick to 1:1 for a while.

We have impact resistant windows and doors for hurricanes now plus they stop UV light and heat from entering and basically can’t hear anything outside anymore not to mention great for the electric bill!!

Really the most important "proper" tools for basic jewelry-making, such as Michelle does, is just to have 2 pairs of needlenose pliers for opening/closing jumprings, and secondly, a pair of wire-cutters. Depending upon what kind of jewelry you're making, other tools such as multiple types of pliers, various tweezers, crimpers, and calipers might be helpful as well. More specialized types of jewelry making, such as metal-smithing, gemstone-cutting, etc., will require many other more-specialized tools.

Does the bloom always have to be done in white?
Nope, you can color it but it does need the white pigment first 👍
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 if you don't mind can you do video on this I'm not quite understanding what you mean yes but white 1st then how would you color it..sorry not catching on
@@user-ot5zw7lf2k you would mix your white pigment like normal then just add alcohol ink or a little mica powder to that mixture for color.(all in the white) then your petals will still work but be colored.
