I love Christina Alonso’s fire and passion for what she understands about her family struggles! That’s what she was trying to get deacon to see but he can’t see past his life experience I hope Lina Esco comes back for a special appearance she’s the best girl power great character ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️SWAT

I just watched a recent episode where Deacon and Street were going back and forth about something and Deacon as his commanding officer benched him and told Street to watch his tone. I watch this clip now and I say to myself Chris should've gotten the same treatment but guess what, she never did. Yet she always bitched and whined about male privilege all while enjoying the perks of facing zero consequences for barking at a superior officer or her erratic drunken behavior that could've easily affected her on the job. She simply got away with way too much thanks to her woman privilege and now I can understand why a lot of the audience didn't like her. She was too much of an emotional activist at times had too much of a chip on her shoulder always wanting Swat to hire a female just for the sake of having another female on the team qualifications be damned and downright nasty at time's. I'm glad she's gone.

@@vgg31 I think it’s better if Street didn’t calm her down. This is something Chris is passionate about and I don’t think Street could calm her down this time but he could have been there for her, I wish Chris let him be there for her. Deacon is scary to see angry he usually is calm most of the time I like Deacon and Chris I hope they make amends and understand their point of views on the matter.

This is one of those situations where they are both right. There needs to be a process where people go through and there is such a process, but the problem is, it SUCKS and doesn't properly address the desperation of these women. The answer is the process needs to change. Bureaucratic red tape needs to be cut.

Problem is there are too many people in power both business and politics who don't want a fairer and easier immigration system to be put in place. This is due to the fact they can pay an undocumented illegal immigrant less than they would be required to a documented worker or a US Citizen and they don't have to provide any health benefits either. This keeps their costs down. Thus they use their connections to ensure the system is never improved.

Despite the fact that Chris is right she needs to accept Deacon is also correct too, I mean isn't she a cop should she not be neutral here. The only reason she is that upset is because it's coming from a white man despite him being a cop,her friend Co worker and he has all right to say what he did he is correct do not look at him bad and behave that way just because he was born a certain way.

You make a good point here deacon was born a certain way and he sees things completely different than Chris that’s why I’m more on Chris side because she grew up around the horrible things happening to her family the injustice . Even hondo tryed to tell deacon how things were for black and brown people but refused to believe it until he noticed it unfolding right in his face or it’s just some don’t want except the realities of this world . I appreciate swat tackling issues for women and people of color it really makes everyone think great writing Lina Esco and Jay Harrington awesome

So here’s the thing. I’m an immigrant and came here legally. One thing people don’t know is people that come here illegally actually push the time table back for us people that want to come here legally. So I’m all for coming here just do it legal so you don’t hurt people who have been waiting for 2 years to make them wait longer.

This is an interesting take since I thought the entire team was about saving people. In fact I thought the first rule of policing is to protect not apprehend. Maybe if police started doing that all around it would eliminate a lot of the problems we now have with police. Chris is passionate about this because of her experience she was raped. Deacon is passionate about his religion. Our experiences define our personality and our world view.

They treat each other like family while holding the “if there’s a problem we talk about because that’s what family does”. Sometimes it’s for the good and bad tho.

They are given access but it takes years whereas for people like him it takes 75% or more of becoming a citizen. It took my parents more than 5 years to come here and they agree that the system was hard then and hard now. If I was President, I would give them a green card for 2 years in exchange for $500 for the forms and fees. They can renew it once and if they aren't citizens, they will restart the process by paying the same $500 fee. They can stay in the U.S with a green card but pay half the tax rate in the state they live in as well as the federal tax rate. They can apply to anything as long as they are working to become legal citizens. If we shut down immigrants or green card holders then we are killing the American Dream that we are open to everyone and that everyone is treated equally even though not everyone is treated equally. It doesn't matter what you believe in or identifies as, what matters is you treat others with love, kindness, respect, and equality.

@@jkrish4845 I am not arguing right or wrong, which really isnt that black and white in this scenario. Deacon was harsh and less professional than usual when interviewing Mama Pina. Deacon has often put his feelings aside to do his job and has always been pretty compassionate and professional. Episodes have been done surrounding illegals and the fact that LA is a sanctuary city in earlier seasons. Deacon did not have the views expressed in this episode in those seasons. Further, Deacon has treated people considered to be despicable better than he did Mama Pina. The Deacon in this episode is not the Deacon I have been watching over the years.
