Rick from Pawn Stars is super talented
Sure looks like him. The last few seconds of the video when he is face on to the camera makes me think it is not him. If it were, that'd be awesome beyond words.
😂
Best I can do is three choruses
HAHAHAHAHA
good one 😂@@KoreyAtterberry
I swear every solo I’ve heard him play is perfect. Never a misplaced note. And always so melodic. Absolute legend.
Beautiful solo from John Allred and superbly taken down Rob
1:40 That descending lick was so nice
NICE!😀
Love John's playing, every solo is a gem. I've always wondered how this is possible...a buddy thinks it's because he had a horn in his hands at a very young age, and a great trombonist dad.
It won't have done any harm, will it?!
Beautiful! Is there such a thing as a perfect solo? This may be it.
Thanks for these transcriptions Rob, they are brilliant. I’d love to understand what the chord structure is too. If you did a voiceover breakdown of what is being done in each phrase, I’d be paying money!!
Thanks for the positive feedback! Most of my transcriptions are jazz standards where the changes are easily found.
That's an interesting idea...!
@@RobEgertonJazzTranscriptions completely agree to the above. When skimming youtube for nice solo transcription and ideas stuff, it's VERY helpful to have some chord context when i don't always have the time to do thorough research. Instantly the best stuff makes it into the 'study this' if you have some harmonic context.
1:39 must learn V-I melodic pattern derived from Donna Lee.
Great to hear John in a laid back melodic mode ... although he excels at breakneck bebop tempos as well ... Talent with a capital T
He excels, period!
Love hearing John play. His ideas and rhythm and melodies takes it to a new level. One awesome player
So so so good! My favorite track from a great album.
Tasty!
Thanks, John and the gang. Beautiful.
Just a great find and just masterful transcription! One minor question at 0:21 in (Bar 8...triplets are written) but it appears that he's playing on the upbeats, perhaps two 16ths and and an 8th?
He pulls it around a little, so it's certainly up for interpretation.
no lo sé Rick
:)
yes sir!
