Very interesting. It sounds reasonable enough to commit to for a month. After all, a month goes by in the snap of the fingers. BTW, I'm 74 and started regularly going to the gym for the first time in my life less than a year ago. I'm not trying to get big, just build healthy muscle as a barrier to sacropinia. The change has been remarkable.

Good for you for getting on your fitness, it’s never too late to have a positive effect! I have another type of push-up video coming out in 2 days that talks more about using pushups as a general exercises with different difficulty levels and progressions, perhaps that will be a bit more applicable.
