- As D’banj Marked his 20 years anniversary as an entertainer, Mavin Grandpa goes down memory lane recalling his role as a father figure to the duo of D’banj and Donjazzy his son from the genesis of their creating timeless music which defined the Mo’hits era. In the special dinner to celebrate the event, Mavin Grandpa in his speech declared D’banj as his adopted son and congratulated him and Donjazzy for their unforgettable contributions to the evolution of popular Nigerian new wave music which today is enjoying tremendous global music market share. This is a toast to the one and only Koko Master the Bangalee.
