Both Mysore Road and Kanakapura roads are almost same distance. If you are looking for scenic beauty, please take Kanakapura route. Start early, if you are late you will stuck in traffic and the journey will take more time than expected and it will be boring. Try to reach there around 9-10 moring then you can cover barrachukki too. Evening it will be raining so you can be back early
