- If you want to have your brake lights flashing when braking hard from over 70km/h, and have an OBDeleven with Pro plan, you can activate the following setting otherwise set to inactive from factory.
1. Notbremsanzeige NBA: Active
2. Notwarn_blinken_NBA_Phase_2 : Active
this probably has nothing to do with what you see in this test, rather activates emergency signals in case of an accident but almost everyone on forums recommends to be active and I can't disagree
3. Crashblinken: Active
Likewise, you can find a few other similar settings such as:
4. Multi kollisions Blinken
5. Emergency alert blinken
I did not turn these on as the effect I was looking for is already achieved by the first 2 settings.
As for the other settings,
Leuchte28RFL LC11 - Dimmwert AB 28 - set to 100 (from 127 original)
Leuchte29RFL RA64 - Dimmwert AB 29 - set to 100 (from 127 original)
I couldn't see any difference. I believe this was meant to change the intensity of the light and comes from what I found online to be the solution to achieving the effect you see in the video, but it doesn't work for me. I did set them back to 127 as they were from factory.
I just found someone today that claims Leuchte28RFL LC11 and Leuchte29RFL RA64 are the reverse lights. Regardless, I still see no difference from 100 to 127. Also makes you wonder how much should you trust as the initial idea is from the OBDeleven forum itself.
Best tip I can offer is make a backup before you change anything and keep track of all changes you make, while also refrain from making any changes you don't trust.
BTW, a lot of the settings and instructions found online for the MK7/MK7.5 are not working as this is the latest MK7.5 produced where they introduced the new infotainment MIB3.
