hi!! i just wanted to say thank u so much for these videos!! as you've said before there's genuinely nothing when it comes to being a student paramedic so i rlly appreciate you making these! ur videos are great and i cant wait for more :)
@@lucytegan4682 I have been enjoying it. There’s just so much. I don’t know how much depth I have to know eg in anatomy and I don’t know how often I should read the JRCALC and revise every week on past content. I’ve taken the approach of trying to complete the week by week activities and I feel like that’s enough but I don’t know at this point
@@anishaahmed5549 Aw it sounds like you've been so dedicated! It's amazing that you're working so hard but don't put too much pressure on yourself, it will all come together ❤️ When is your first placement?
@@lucytegan4682 thank you. I have a week of taster placement at the end of November but actual placement starts in January. I’m just trying not to overwhelm myself with everything
@@anishaahmed5549 Honestly for me it all started coming together on placement, hopefully you will have the best time ❤️ I felt like it affirmed to me how much I want to be a paramedic and made the degree and learning see more manageable xxx All my fingers are crossed for you x
love the video! i was hoping if you could tell me if i need to do chemistry a level to become a paramedic. i’m thinking of doing biology, psychology and sociology - do you think those a levels are good to become one?
Awe thank you I'm so glad you liked it! I didn't do chemistry, I think biology is definitely a smart choice but other than that nothing specific is required, I recon it's better to do subjects that you enjoy and do well in ❤️ I think your choices sound really good! I'm definitely not an expert in the subject or anything aha xxx Good luck!
Hey, love you and your videos. I am starting uni in september 2021 for paramedic science. I was wondering if you were able to help me with getting a head start and what to start studying and what to look at. I have not got any experiance in any of it so don't know where to start and worried if I wont be able to keep up when I start, many thanks
Awe that's brilliant, good luck!! I think if you're wanting to get ahead I'd suggest starting with some physiology because you're probably going to have a physiology module in your first semester ☺️ Everyone on my course found this the most content heavy so if you want a good place to start this is what I'd suggest. Any physiology book would be a good start but if you want to read a book that is in the detail you will need at uni and is used in many Paramedic Science degrees, try the Ross & Wilson anatomy and physiology book ☺️
Yes I think so but I'm not completely sure, I think you need to unless you have a medical reason not to. To go on placement I'm required to first get a hepatitis vaccine and I think it will be similar for covid xx
Honestly I don't know, I'm not really the right person to ask xxx I'm guessing it is required because as a healthcare professional you might put the public at risk if you aren't immunised ❤️ I'm really not certain though x
Honestly so informative thank you I am applying next year and your videos have helped so much
Aw I'm so glad I could help, good luck! Xx

Awe thank you so much Ella that is lovely and so kind, I'm so happy they were helpful ☺️❤️
Loved this video! I've applied to do Paramedic Science in September 2021 and its so nice to hear stories of what its like at university!
Awe thank you that's so good to hear!! Good luck with your application ☺️☺️
Brilliant vlog. Thank you. I love Edinburgh. I’m a student in Swansea. May do a similar video on my experiences.
Do it!
I just got a conditional offer for paramedic science! Thanks, these videos helped to prepare me
Appreciate these videos! Starting my first year on the 18th. Dreading it but also exiting!
Wow that's amazing, good luck!! I really hope it goes well x
fantastic video youre my fave youtuber
Awe thank you that's very kind ☺️

Yoo
What uni are you at
Queen Margaret's in Edinburgh ☺️
@@lucytegan4682 did you ever consider wolverhampton???
No, but only because it was too far away from home, I mostly based my uni applications on where was closest to me xxx

@@lucytegan4682 Thanks!
It is very nice to present, but if you put a translation into Arabic, then paramedics in Arab countries would be able to benefit
That's a good thought, I will think about that for my next video ☺️
@@lucytegan4682 Thank you for your response and I am looking forward to the next video, and I will share your channel with my friends🤝💜💜💜💜💜
