The round, yellow snacks that you don’t know about on the boat are called “cat ears.” They’re not actual cat ears, but the shape is somewhat similar. 4. The reason Ctrip’s boat tickets might be cheaper is probably because it’s a group buying model. 5.Finally, I really like your son and daughter. They are so well-behaved.

I like your video's, so recognizable......did al lot of the same activities with our family during our summer trip in July 2024 and we did the same trip on the 28/29th of July. Arrival was so crowded (back to back)but in your video it looks rather calm. We had the same weather, we had fog as well which makes the experience special/mysterious, maybe even nicer than with blue sky. Stayed also in the Yangshou mountain resort, nice location and good food. When we were there, there were so many bamboo rafts passing by.

I stayed by the river just outside of Yangshuo but never took the river trip. On my return to China in 2012 I stayed and explored in Guilin. This area of China is really lovely and I would recommend travellers to visit, but do it independently not on a tour. In 2007, my first visit, I got around southern provinces without a smart phone without GPS and translate.

amazing hotel! I wouldn't mind it not being exactly 5 stars for some amenities, adds to the rustic charm. wasn't sunny but the low clouds and mist adds a lot to the scenery!
I remember from my trip to Yangshuo many years ago. there was a little hotel/hostel named 'Fawlty Towers' just on the main street...I wonder if it's still there :D

桂林最值得游玩的项目是遇龙河漂流。坐竹筏从遇龙河上游漂流下来，全程大约40公里，遇龙河河水清澈，两岸风景绝美。

My family and I did the same river cruise last year, except we were on a bamboo raft, which was way more interesting than the big motor boat.

Yes, there is a restaurant at this hotel. Communication is a little difficult but using translation apps make life a lot easier.
