a proper homage.
edit: switch owners be sure to enable the "unleash the beast" in-game setting for 60fps.
Oddly enough it kind of makes DJ Cyber and Solace look worse. Turn it off if you're playing as them
Just be aware you may need to turn that mode back off again if the framerate begins to stutter. I'm playing on an OLED and for the most part had no issues until one particular late game battle, where the framerate got so bad it was making me miss jumps/landings. Turned "unleash the beast" mode off and had no issues again.
I tried it on my OLED Switch and its not that stable plus 30 frames feel smoother but I am getting it on Steam later on because there's cool Mods that this version doesn't have but its great to play it outdoors
was a bit disappointed with the original review of this on the site, it's intentionally a love letter to jet set because sega won't bring the series back. This fixes so much of the original, being able to get of your skates, attacking police now and stringing together combos is amazing . the story is surprisingly in-depth and great too.
it is coming back, a new game was leaked earlier this year alongside Persona 3 Reload and Beta footage of Sonic Frontiers, its all early stuff from 2021
@@BatsOnSaturnLeak looked fake to me
@@8bitdiedie yea its not fake since p3 reload was shown in the same video and wasn't revealed at the time
I think the same. This game is kinda meant for other JSRF or JSR fans. I was afraid it was going to be a knockoff but it's the real deal and as you say, it fixes and improves on JSRF. I think their attitude is like, let's image we're making the third game. BUT, this game has it's on personality and the little things they added, let's you know that the devs wanted to show other aspects they grew up with.
@@oddboi2256 Well if its real it looks a little shitty. Let’s hope it looks completely different by the time its out.
Idk I’m going to have to disagree with some of the criticisms of unoriginality. BRC brings a lot of its own stuff to the table with the move-styles and the way they reworked mechanics, all whilst staying true to the concept of love.
Imo it’s an unfair criticism to put to put the game down for being exactly what it set out to be, a spiritual successor to JSRF, and it does that perfectly. Capturing the essence of what made the JSR games so great, distilling it and delving it in a modern format with its own accoutrements.
If it had been more original it could’ve easily strayed too far and not been what we wanted (see Hover revolt of gamers), and while that can be good of in an of itself it means we got something that gives familiarity to JSR rather than a new JSR.
Yeah, I don't remember any reviewer citing unoriginality about Bloodstained when it was released...
Then be a reviewer
@@uhhh_adam Sooo you can’t disagree with a review unless you’re a professional reviewer?
Bro you don’t need to defend NL when I wasn’t even attacking them, I just respectfully stated where I disagreed with their review.
@@IKimdraculaIFacts. 🤔
exactly!!! there was so much care and love put into this game, it's clearly meant to be a follow up that developed on so much of the game mechanics. AND they really brushed over the story line, its so in-depth.
This has been my most anticipated release of the year since the moment it was announced, hope it gets a physical soon!!
No physical
No buy
@@DoitYHWHit won't most likely
forget it they mention it won't have a physical since they are a smaller studio. Also its 1 GB size anyways
Keep an eye on the limited run games website . They release limited stock of physical copies for switch and other consoles that normally wouldn’t have a physical form
@@dragonsdogma2062 They could always get a publisher to help them make physicals, if those weird soft-p0rn games on the switch can get physicals, so can this lol
In case you just want to skip the video, ABSOLUTE YES THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!

"It feels like this game hasn't left the 2000s"
Bro that's why I like it!
Jet set radio fans should really get this one a shot if their diying to see a new game in that series
haven't even watched the video yet and i'm gonna answer the question in the title: yes. yes it is. it's worth every penny, bomb rush cyberfunk is an incredible game and is 100% worth playing. genuinely one of my favorite games of all time.
I highly disagree with the notion that this simply lives in jet set’s shadow, it’s a very different game, I’m not sure when the last time you played jet set radio but beyond the tagging and core structure, everything feels different. It takes just as much from Tony hawk as jet set, combining and tricks are much more important, fun and integral to the gameplay. The levels are much larger than even jsrf because movement is completely different and faster paced.
This is better than a jet set radio sequel, it clearly takes inspiration from JSR but it’s a better game than either JSR or JSRF, unless you’re living entirely through nostalgia goggles.
I love JSR and JSRF and grew up playing those. And this game is not only the real deal. it's the best one of the bunch. Some reviewers seem to only have played the other ones very little or not recently rnough to completion because JSR heads online are loving this game.
Everyone else seems like they don't get it and comment on very superfical stuff or criticise things that were part of JSR as it were a new complaint. It's just makes me think they didn't really spend their lives with those other games to see how great BRC is. You can even feel it has a different personality than those other ones.
Well said!
@@ajzn97Also well said! 👍
More of an 8 than a 7. The game set out to do exactly what it was made to do and fill in the void for a new JSR. The cons mentioned are rather unfounded or minute if you have played either JSR or JSRF recently.
At first I’d say it was a 9/10 but this more or less hits exactly what I thought after about 40 hours, I feel like with one update of a few quality of life changes, better load time and an added ability to switch the vehicle mid season it will be a much more enjoyable experience
Better load times on the Switch? Lol
Load times will always be average on the switch, unless the game isn't demanding.
@@aquariuskudo well I more or less mean in general since it’s coming to ps and Xbox in a week which I plan to get.. but I mean for a low poly game like that those load times are wild
This game is amazing, a true spiritual continuation of JSR!
Got it on switch and I might be in a minority but I prefer to leave "Unleash the Beast" off. It's nice that they do have the option available.
Some characters do look better eith the setting off, so I agree with you
Ngl this review was a miss. BRC is a serious 8 to 9/10
From someone who plays JSR and JSRF al.ost every year, this game was not JSR but more. It was incredibly similar but more mechanical and more options for traversal. Story took a forefront. BRC is so good because for people like me I get to feel that magic all over again for the first time. And for younger people, it's a great way to experience this sort of game for your first time and show you why it's such a beloved title. ❤
The soundtrack alone is worth the price
The fact that you can get this to 60fps is absolutely amazing
I mean it looks like a Dreamcast game and is intentionally low poly and low texture res. Not that surprising
@@owRekssjfjxjxuurrpqpqssStill struggles to hold the 60 on switch
God, Switch hardware sucks so bad and really holds back games that have no business being held back but sub-par Nintendo tech.
@@TheYoungVulnerableAnimeGirlscry more. Nintendo lives in your head rent free
@@uhhh_adam I'm not denying that. The switch was the last console of theirs I'm buying. Gonna be emulation here on out until they let people actually buy virtual console titles again or get online servers that aren't comparatively worse than all other servers in gaming or make a new F-Zero or stop murdering franchises that were fine the way they like Star Fox.
I don't remember if I knew about this game 3 years ago, when it was first announced, or merely two years ago. But I DO remember I was absolutely IMPRESSED and excited about this game. A JSR inspired indie game WITH Hideki Naganuma's JSR vibes on it? I WANT IT! I couldn't stop watching in loop that first teaser that was INCREDIBLE!
Fastforward to the August 18th, I got to play the game first hand and I absolutely loved it for what it is: a cool homage to one of the most iconic games in the history, and how it stands out on its own rights. To me, BRC is not a "sequel" to the Jet Set Radio franchise, but one inspired by it (not as heavily, according to one of the developers) that takes the good bits and expands upon it.
There's a whole new world, lore and franchise to explore in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk while we, Jet Set Radio fans, enjoy the things we loved the most of JSR in a brand new, stylish and freshly born franchise I HOPE to see more of in the future. Thanks for the review guys! 🙌
P.S.: Make sure to check every corner of the stages, as there might be more things to find that we're aware of.
The (written) review and especially the intro is a bit harsh for this title. It's indeed not an original game, but if that's your point of view 95% of all videogames are unoriginal.
I've been really liking the game. Just skating around in itself is really fun. Even when I had a friend play this, he was skating around in the hideout, and now he's thinking about getting it.
Beat the main campeign two days ago, the exact kind of game I've waited over a decade for since first playing JSR! 8.5/10
In Jet Set Radio Future u didn’t need to return to home base to change your character, there was a special graffiti in every stage to change characters and save the game
@@ohshadows3882 yeah i know … did u see the whole video?
Use the taxi
You can change character in each level, just pull up to a Cypher and state dancing
The thing that doesn’t come up when discussing JSR (which I discovered for myself on playing it for the first time earlier this year) is that the gameplay and difficulty curve have serious problems.
Like some sloppy controls are a minor issue in the beginning, but grow to become the biggest challenge to finishing the game as later levels challenge you to do more in less time. (Also the police and enemy escalation eventually gets out of hand).
The game isn’t balanced, simply put. BRC has some balancing problems of its own, but it’s infinitely better than trying to play JSR today.
I'm in for the skateboard gameplay. And the style is just great.
I would have to give it an 8/10 or a few decimal points higher. The story alone is FAR better than it has any right to be, without spoiling anything. There's plenty of twists and turns that make it leagues better than JSR, and essentially gives it legs to stand on its own. This whole game feels like the "JSR(F) spiritual sequel" angle was just to get a foot in the door for Team Reptile to deliver an exciting and trippy story, a memorable world and characters, and overall an experience that plays like a mixtape/love letter to the 00s.
JSR diehards need to get this without question, but everyone else on steam/switch should too. the steam version might be better lowkey because of the achievements
I was so shocked when I first saw dj cypher and what he did. I'm really excited to see what's going to happen with the story, that alone seems so much better already than jsrf. I love that game to bits but this is so much more intriguing.
I wanted this game to be as much jet set radio as possible and these absolutely beautiful people delivered and they knew exactly who they were making this game for, but I hope Sega see just how great a new jsr can be, this is on par with warhammer boltgun and I think that game was a clear 11/10.
This game is WAY better than JSR and anyone who says otherwise is just drunk on nostalgia
While like every other the game BRC does have its shortcomings, they’re more like minor annoyances that wouldn’t bug you for more than 10 seconds. Also, this is the first time in like 20 yrs that someone is actually doing a proper iteration on the JSR formula. On that front it’s one hell of a success and a crazy fun time. :)
7/10 is crazy. It’s definitely a 9/10 for me
Lo fi??? This is funk.
This reviewer seems to have not known why the game was made or it’s core audience.
The thing this reviewer says is the biggest negative is actually the game's biggest selling point. It fills the void for people who don't want to be stuck waiting for a Jet Set Radio 3 that might never happen. In fact, with extreme sports games in general just about dead, this game proves they still have some life left.
Now, if only someone could make a spiritual successor for Darkstalkers and fill my next biggest gaming void.
I really want a physical copy of this game! 🤤
There is one now
I've been waiting for a port of Jet Set Radio Future for years. Hopefully this scratches that itch.
I think it's an absolutely worthy successor to Jet Set
sad there was no advertising for the game… so many people will never experience the jet set universe because of it.
I got it today ,it came with a package of graffiti stickers...
I'm looking forward to playing the game. I never played jet set radio, but I played a tagging game .
For crying out loud, you cant slam it by constantly comparing it to another games influences. There's loads of us out there that never played Jetset, so this looks fresh and exciting. You clearly went into this review with one thing in mind; to compare to its predecessor.
I'll give the loading times a pass. The areas are massive with no loading in between and no repetitiveness so it seems like there's a lot to load in.
I always wanted to like Jet Set Radio more than the controls and gameplay would let me. I really hope I like this
I loved jsrf and played it so much growing up. I tried jsr maybe 4 years ago and STRUGGLED with it. I was so shocked cause jsrf controls are like second nature for me. BRC took a bit for me to get used to but only because I have a fried brain and I'm used to playing with inverted camera controls. After maybe an hour and a half though I got more used to it and having lots of fun just exploring the maps and finding fun little hidden things
This is an amazing game, but it's not fair to criticize it for being similar to JSR, as that's what the game set out to be. That said, where I and many others I've seen *do* feel the game deserves more criticism is the way the heat system (the system that makes cops mad at you) is implemented. This game desperately needs an option to turn that system off, even if it were only made available after beating the main story. It's not that fighting the cops in this game is hard. It's just annoying. They literally start chasing you after one single tag is made. From there, a few more tags and things escalate to choppers and snipers and all kinds of stuff. That's incredibly annoying when I just want to chill and hit up some tags. I know you can go into a toilet stall to change outfits and reset your heat rating, but 1. having to do that after every single tag is as annoying as the cops themselves, and 2. you can't use the same stall twice in a row, which means you often have to alternate between stalls that may be all the way across the map from each other.
I've seen enough people complain about this online to know it's definitely not just me. I really hope the devs will listen and perhaps add in a free patch with an option to disable the heat system entirely for those who want to do so. As it is, I probably won't bother completing all the maps. I finished the story, and absolutely adore the overall mechanics and movement in the game. I could easily sink dozens more hours into this game... if only the heat system weren't a constant annoyance.
It's GOTY 2023 for us Jetset fans tired of sega screwing us around saying they'll get around to JSR3.
Anyone else who's never been into jet set before should just ignore this vid and get it for themselves to try it out as at no point is it a ripoff.
Praying for a physical release sooner than the next nintendo console getting announced
I agree. I’m not a digital gamer. I like to have all copies of my games on my shelf. I checked EBay, Amazon and GameStop today and there is still no physical copy yet and I don’t want the game digitally. 😢🎮
I just got this from eBay,so glad I didn't buy this on the E-shop,cuz I wanted a physical version and I GOT ONE!!!🎉
This looks incredible. They set out to make a spiritual remake/sequel of JSRF and I can't believe how well they executed it.
If you really think that Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a copy paste of Jet Set Radio with minimal changes, you have not played JSR. The game structure is completely different, story is told completely differently, controls are leaps and bounds ahead of JSR. You could say it's very similar to JSRF, sure, but so what? The entire selling point of this game is to be a spiritual successor to that game, so why knock down points for a game achieving it's goal? I would agree if we had a billion of these games and then this was too similar, but it's been two decades since JSRF. I think it's okay to make a game similar to one that hasnt been made in over 20 years.
Would be sick to see a Jet Set Radio DLC with Beat and including the fan favorite Jsr and Jsrf soundtracks. If the Devs have enough money and Sega is cool with the idea. This was not published by Sega or anything Im aware. Oddly enough, I had the JSR soundtracks playing in my mind when looking at the gameplay
The soul of JSR lives on, lets hear it!!!
100% Jet Set Radio vibes and I'm here for it!
I’m glad I read comments on these videos. The video doesn’t seem to sing its praises as much as others that’s played it. I’m definitely getting this
Make sure to turn on "Unlease the beast" setting for 60fps on switch
Can we get Marc Eckos Getting Up Contents Under Pressure for switch?🤔
2-Mello is in this!? Sold! Sold!
Jet Set Radio Future is my favorite game of all time!
"Like it hasn't left the 2000's" that's why it's SO DAMN GOOD!!!! I'm playing it on ps5 (dummy quick load times too) and this is quickly becoming my favorite ps5 game. I love bomb rush. I also grew up with jet grind on dreamcast and jet set on xbox and bomb rush is the dream jet set i never knew i wanted so bad. I even burned the soundtrack to CDs 😅
Excellent review. BCR looks amazing, and fun.
Bummer about its technical issues
This game totally keeps JSR alive
I wrote an article covering the soundtrack as well. 31 songs, it has so much range, and awesome tunes
I feel like team reptile really wants this to succeed and they'll
Do what they can to improve on it, they put ALOT of heart into this and i love the commitment to keeping the soul of JSR alive
One of the things missing are the weird rock songs and a few more low energy tracks to cruise around. I still half way through so I dunno if they’re ahead.
@@ajzn97 I noticed that too, it definitely needed more variety. They have plenty of beats filled tunes. There is nothing like "Aisle 10", "Statement of Intent", "Birthday Cake", "I love love you", "Dragula" and more that filled that playlist in the past
Could be possible they may add more music after the release on other platforms. It already has 30+ songs as is. But you never know, they could surprise us
@kadosho02 The idea was that game and soundtrack were to reflect more on hip-hop culture. Rock songs most likely never be in the the game(s).
@@AqualLine92 the problem with having more options, is not branching out with more genres. Which is odd how different this title's soundtrack is from JSR & JSRF. It should have embraced more sound styles instead
Why limit, when you have access to more artists? 🤔
For example: a game I have mixed feelings about
Street Fighter 6. Which does not feel right. It feels like a hit, and miss with its soundtrack. It stays way too safe with hip-hop, and some electronic. Where in the past it tried different genres, giving a character more personality through their theme song
BCR is on another level compared to SF6. BCR is way better..
Although, I do enjoy what BCR soundtrack delivers, but it could have done so much more
Definitely some valid criticisms, though others I’d have to disagree with. It sounds like the person who wrote this wanted more of a Tony Hawk spiritual successor, rather than a Jet Set one.
I was thinking bomb-rush cyberfunk would involve chucking literal bombs at cops. But that would be considered terrorism, so understandable that we can’t do that.
In the context of this game, "Bomb Rush" is a combination of bombing (graffiti term) and bum rushing (when everyone rushes the entrance to a venue all at once to try and sneak in)
This really has been one of the most awesome years in gaming.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Tears of the Kingdom
Mario Bros Wonder
Super Mario RPG remake
Street Fighter 6
Baldur Gate 3
Pizza Tower
Killer Instinct 10 year anniversary update
And so much more.
Ive been following this for years, yes
I’m waiting on a physical but I hope this sells well.
As someone who played BRCF then JSR, this game is great. This game has its own thing and style going but is a great alternative to JSR. The music and the gameplay is different but it feels like jet set radio, definitely the best choice if you can’t play JSR
This is one of those game where I like everything about it except actually playing it.
The gameplay loops are completely different lmao
This is the stupidest question in human history. Yes, it's worth it. This game was made for people who loved the game loop of jet grind and doesn't overstay its welcome. The devs even said that the game isn't really ment to be replayed, it's an experience you play once and move on.
I grew up playing Marc Eckos Getting Up so this is perfect !
It took two and a half minutes of this video to get to the actual topic at hand. I know how good Jet Set was, I want to know about Cyberfunk.
I hope this game gets a sequel!
One thing this game does worse than JSR is tagging fluidity. When you painted over a small tag in JSR, you could just keep going but in this game a small cutscene plays. It doesn't seem like much at first but it gets annoying over time. In a stretch with smaller tags, you want to paint over them in JSR but in BRC you want to just pass by them if you can. It disrespects your time to show how "cool" the game is. If it's once every time you load a map, I can understand that. But it's every tag.
You also got punished in JSR if you took too long tagging something, like you're being chased by the police or something. Here, everyone has to patiently wait while you dance and paint before running at full speed again, like an episode of Tom and Jerry. There's no sort of challenge when it comes to tagging because time stops, which was intentionally not present in JSR.
I don't own the game myself but I've read a review that the BMX/Board/Skates have no mechanical difference and that they're purely visual. If anyone can confirm or deny this, please do. I don't want my opinion muddied by false info. I'll respond like they've done this, though. That's a really bad choice. If you're going to make the different "vehicles" a selling point, make them distinct mechanically. Doesn't make or break the game but it does feel a bit misleading to me, personally. Even Mario Sunshine gave you 3 different "difficulties", for like 2 missions!
The bikes are the slowest but have the most handling. Using a boost instead lifts them up into the air and can be done once after a jump. if you jump into a wall, you'll ride up it for a while. This is so beginner players can get the basics down without having to worry about falling down a large gap. Also good for areas with sharp corners or high walls.
Boards are an all-round class, average speed and control, and the boost gives them a bonus multiplier. No air movement, but good for fighting rivals.
And Skates are the fastest but hardest to control and their boost is a straight-forward boost, like in the current game. Designed for experts at the game, rewarding you with faster clears if you can deal with the handling.
Of course, these are examples, but there's plenty you can do with this general idea of differentiating the gameplay even with smaller tweaks.
They named the city New Amsterdam 💀
The developers are Dutch
@@ians_parks then I think it’s rather based
Cant say I've experienced the frame drops or crashes referenced in the review. Id say im halfway through the game at this point. The games dripping with style, and is just fun to run around in. If you enjoyed games like Tony Hawk's underground or JSR you'll enjoy this too.
It’s weird none of the reviews I’ve seen or read mention the need of quick turn around move, the fact that you can’t straight the camera faster, that taking off your wheels is amazing for platforming. I guess in modern gaming they make such a fuzz over frame drops but not actual gameplay mechanics improvements or problems.
I don’t why this game compared to JSR when BRC is more of a spiritual sequel to JSRF. I lve JSR but JSRF is pretty distinct from the first game.
Also the trick system adds a lot to the fun of traversing the city and there’s score you can check for your high score tricks in the pause menu.
I don’t think the game needs a quick turn but the camera is a legit criticism.
@@samuelturner6076 I feel the quick turn thing is very helpful when you need to stop abruptly or to turn around abruptly. I have to like take off my skates or something to get a similar effect.
@@ajzn97 It is helpful and as you said you can achieve it by taking of your skates, but the whole reason why it’s only something for on foot travel is because that’s the only method of travel that would work with.
You can’t do an instant 180 or even 90 degree turn on rollerblades, a bike or a skateboard, it’s physically impossible.
Instead learning how to make tight and precise turns whilst on your gear whilst going at ludicrous speeds is the point of the game.
It’s not just a regular platformer, it’s a fast paced platformer that demands speed and skill if you want to be able to do the high leve challenges.
@@samuelturner6076 Yeah, I mean. I actually find this game much easier than JSRF because you can take off your skates easily when doing the platforming because of how imprecise it was in JSRF when you were in similar situations.
But I miss the sharp turn/sharp stop mechanic from JSRF and JSR especially when you're going the wrong direction or need to restart a combo or two avoid running or falling into things.
It was easier to do tigher turns in those games because that was one of the essencial skills.
I couldn’t remember the name of the other game jet set radio man that has a core memory for me
This year is too much, lol. Gravity Circuit, Black Skylands, this, Tears of the Kingdom, BG3, Shinobi non Grata, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, Metroid Prime, Pikmin, Sea of Stars, and Mario in October. It never ends
I'm sorta worried for this game when the Jet Set Radio reboot inevitably comes out. Especially since it like... Has the style it did before only on a bigger budget. The gameplay here may be different but it could've done a better job being unique with its concept.
I miss having a button for looking straight forward
I’ve had tears of the kingdom crash on me, and some of the loading screens in TotK are painful. TotK is the highest rated game ever. And I play on an oled with less than 2500hrs on it. If it is basically jet set 2.0 then that should add points, not remove it. Not to mention that 100% of all the content is a one time purchase of $29.99. Just these facts alone should be a 9.0/10
7 out a 10 : Cap 👀🤦🏾
So much said in the intro that comes to nothing of substance.
I think they should have made you upgrade stats like in Tony hawk games. So the better combo you do the more you can upgrade stats and you're not just a perfect skate monster right out the gate
Upgrade stats? You're op as heck in this game, you just gotta get better m8
@ColorMeDoubleZ : that's the point, Brandon. You're too op, and instead you should be able to work your way up to that point.
That would be fun. Tagging enough spots and getting high scores gets points to unlock new moves to get to new spots and repeat the process. Carrots are good.
I dunno how to feel about this one. I like JSR but the whole "indie game blatantly trying to replicate a pre-existing IP" approach to game design has never worked for me.
Dude jsr has been gone for 20 years now and JSRF is not easily accessible. Sega have done nothing with the ip and seemingly don't care about other devs making similar types of games. Bomb rush fills a void that fans have been craving for a long ass time
@@ZezinizzleI guess that makes sense if you don't have a way to play JSRF. I still have it on XBOX so I'm still not sold on this game
I've been waiting AGES for this 😍😍
I’ll wait until it’s on sale
the final boss is australian olympic breakdance champion. raygun lmao
Personally wished they kept Soap Shoes in Cyberfunk
I hope when a sequel gets made they get Dirty Bird/gum.mp3, dazegxd, and Evilgiane to make some tracks for the soundtrack. They're a few of my favorite deep house/DnB/jungle producers/DJs out right now.
Good lord the frame rate during the fight looks like stop motion, fuck that, getting it on my Series X.
Is this game single player?
Yes
yeah it’s worth it buy it now
Loved jet set but the gameplay here got boring as hell
I would not reccomend this game on switch as it stands. The "unleash the beast" mode rarely ever hits 60 and for me usually fluctuated rapidly between 40-55, which caused me to get motion sick (something that rarely ever happens because my favorite genre is third person platformers and i have a good visual immunity)
I think 60 is necessary for such a movement intensive game, and i think given the low-poly artstyle, its pretty aggregious that switch cant hold it consistently.
On the other hand, the game is currently digital only on all platforms. I think indie games are worth getting on switch because physical carts will last for years and years, as evidenced by all of Nintendo's older cart based systems. But if you can only get this game digitally, just get it on steam or wait for it to come out on PS4/5 or Xbox. The Steam deck can get a good 60fps out of this game too if you want it portably.
TL;DR
60 fps is horribly inconsistent, and the game is digital only. Pass on Switch, purchase on steam or other consoles.
Man screw this review, 7/10?? This game is at LEAST 8.5/10
I love the game since Dreamcast but why is it only able to download I need a physical copy
I feel like the combat could learn a lot from Psychonauts.
Not expecting Bayonetta levels here but some cool moves from momentum and some aggro decoys could go a long way.
I’m so glad there isn’t a rating system.
It’s a great fun game to mess around doing tricks, specially in short bursts
10/10
the game looks overly floaty and lacks the charm of JGR or JSRF. Would be cool if someone took the scale and world of CyberPunk 2077 and the style of JSRF and created something a little more deep and meaningful.
Im not a big fan of the open area approach and the initial songs
Can’t believe the story for this game is better than totk
Hell yeah.
JSRF got me into the graffiti artstyle.
BRCF is so much fun y’all. I’m enjoying this more than jet set radio
