Very mangonelable cast
A Mangonelable army is a great term, we should use it everywhere for every AoE game. I play Cassador + Organ Gun in AoE3 I've got a Hussarble army.

+1 million to removing the wolf. It serves no purpose other than to troll noobs.
Alternatively, if you really want wolves, then buff them so that they're actually something to deal with.

Like male bear 600 health bar, or female bear with 2 cubs 400 health bar & 2x100 health bar for the cubs so 600 health in total too.
Please make another 6 minute guide helped me so much as a new player, I want to try other civs but it’s hard to find good openings for them, or more concisely good openings guides for new players.
Could also have them guard small one time collectable treasures like in aoe 3 rather than just sitting in the middle of nowhere. Maybe or maybe not guard relics too, kind of how all the wolves are placed in the center clearing with the relics on Turtle Ridge. Yet just like you said without buffing them they would mostly just remain an annoyance.

I think the new Rus bounty system is definitely an improvement! I like it! Creating multiple scouts and trying to search out and kill all the hunt before your opponent does pre patch was annoying and tedious. This seems more balanced.
100% I'm so happy they changed it to this. I get their initial idea but it became a brutal and tedious slaughter of every animal on the map which just looks and sounds silly and annoying.
Great game of back and forth with the bounty, relics and Sacred Sites. Props to the devs for some seriously good balance and gameplay improvements!

I think it would be cool if there were actually more wolves and if they would roam the map in packs

or have animals that are dangerous that attack like the wolves but has food that you can gather when killed faster then other sources or more in amounts.
I suspect the bounty system works on the basis of decimals. So when you see 15 food as the “cutoff,” I’m guessing what’s happening in the background is that there’s actually 1.5 gold, but it’s being displayed as 2 gold in the interface, which probably only shows integers.
That's how all numbers work in this game. When you see 0 hp on a unit it means it's got less than 0,5 hp actually
The whole 1 gold at 5 or 15 food is just a rounding thing. If u force drop off at 5 food u get 0.5 gold(in game this looks something like: u get 1 gold when u do it but the next time u do it, u dont)
It has to do with I think scientific rounding, 0-4 rounds down, 5-9 rounds up.
Also I think this is just for the visual just as you said.

Wolf is a decoration of the game, an optional feature. Don't remove optional features :)

my only concern with the new bounty system, is it made high trade house pretty much required.
Only for fast castle builds, I don't even play rus and I have loved them on socotra for kreming the bore and the extra wood and gold gen.
