Dig the pipe threader. Wish I had one of those. When I work on Terminator Salvation we had some Wicked automated threader's you just had a drop them in there tighten them down
Your sliders are pretty dope man. Where do you live? I do a lot of welding I build picture cars for a living stunt cars and stuff like that . My crew and I built all the trains on The Lone Ranger movie and a bunch of other s*** for different movies. I've been building very similar sliders for my GSXR 1000 right now. So far I got triangular plates for protection of the motor with two pipes running from one side to the other connecting to each other and the frame. I'm trying to decide if I want to put tubes on the outside of the fairing or not. I also have an attachment I made to hook a sidecar to my GSXR because my little dog is getting really pissed off every time I start the bike and take off because my truck got wrecked he's been stuck at the house ever since and usually rides with me everywhere
Ok AG... So now I find some time and set myself to make this project (vacations, finally!). But I need a lot of help for this build. First... What was the largest diameter of the tubes that you have used? How much time you had to apply the torch in order to be able to bend this tubes? What is the inner diameter of the sliders of the crash cage and what is their height? Thank you very much in advance.

Amazing.... Cages are so expensive! I should build it myself... Maybe I'll give it a try.

54 Tunny there is no universal cages. Each bike has different mounting specs.
