I just ate a few of those peppers myself and what I noticed was the longer I let it sit on the plant the sweeter it got. If I picked them right when they turned yellow they have a slight bitterness mixed in there with the sweet. I've been trying to beat the crows to my peppers lately 🤣 they ate every one of my apple crisp peppers. It's war now! Lol I hope everyone has a blessed day
Yea, its almost like picking them a little green. Some of the chocolates are notorious for looking great on the outside but not being brown on the inside. My Lemon Brain Strains are the same thing a little. They get an almost orange color to them when over ripe, but then they get a stronger lemon taste. You gotta do what you gotta do when you have to beat the varmints. I've had my share of dealing with raccoons and my pineapples that become ready.
i finally gave in to buying 6 hot balls. i've been hesitant/afraid of cramping bad like the sunflower seeds. i also bought a tube of terror version 2 corn nuts to train my tolerance more before doing the 6 hot balls.
I Have the KSLS growing this year,Have four pods so far. They Do have great flavor and Khang Starr Is Is Nice dude. Also does not want seeds sold from those pods! Free to swap and gift them! ✌️
I have never gotten in too chilis but I have wanted too , I just really like the look of some chilis some of them look wicked and you know just by looking at them they are hot .
@@TooTRUEtoBeG00D if you like fruity, the BOC has the best orange taste I've had. Its right at 500k though. The Lemon Drop will give you the lemon taste and isn't all that hot. They also produce a bunch of little pods. My Lemon Brain Strain blows away the Lemon Drop on lemon taste, but they are around 1m. Some of yellow snackers had a decent lemon taste at around 30k, but they aren't consistent for lemon taste.
Is there any sauce close to siracha I went to 4 different stores and found 2 bottles supermarket said they probably aren’t going to get any in for months
Got some of these in my box from Linda, great peppers without scorching heat...Very tasty even to a noob like me. I think early season pods aren't as hot so it's like easing into things. The purple ghost's I ate this week are no where near as hot as the late season ghosts I got last year. There are scorchers in the box though, yikes... Good stuff Johnny, keep the pod reviews coming...I'm still learning..need all the knowledge possible...
no. lindas firey treats is where I got my first box this year. It's early so they sell out fast, keep watching. I got a bunch of chocolates in my mix. No guarantee on what you get but I got 4 of these in my box
Man I really want to enjoy hot stuff and Into crazy hot stuff like your tube of terror or just really any of the higher up their peppers but I've such a low spice tolerance. But with what's a good way and good place to start to train my spice tolerance

How long do you leave them on .do they change another colour what's the tell
@@ed230 when you leave them on they get a little deeper yellow. The deeper they yellow usually the more sweet and lemony they are
@@DrewVerdin thanks dude
@@ed230 no problem

Gorgeous pepper. Thanks for sharing.
That looks like something I’d like! “Because spicy content is the bus rider’s jam!!”
That lemon starburst is an amazing pepper!
Love you Johnny!!!
Those pods looks so delicious and awesome
I wanted those seeds for like forever and like magic a stumbled on them ...growing them this year ...so stoked to try them
Mr. Jimmy Pickles now sells them
Johnny seems like the most down to earth guy.
Thank you. What you see is what you get. There is no act or show, just me, mistakes and all. Lol. Thank you for the comment and for watching

I really appreciate the flavour reviews , i have a couple of these in my garden this year, and I cant wait to make sauce with them
Nice to be back. Took a leave from this channel for no reason. First video back and enjoyed it as usual. Take care
The wheels on the bus keep going. No worries. Thanks for stopping by again
It's funny how peppers have names that sound like weed strains. I wonder what the overlap is lol
Best pepper taste in the world
Growing those for the first time this year! Was able to try some pods last year and they were incredible
If you're going for the premium phenotype I would keep all the seeds from the pods with stingers

Did you make it down under yet ???
He's still waiting on the visa
Taste wise, what is your favorite chili pepper to eat during a meal? For me its definitely habanero.
Currently it's the Lemon Yellow Brain grown by Seriously Hot Peppers and Tom Broome
@@ChaseTheHeat Thank you for the response. Ill add some citrusy variety to my garden. Any recommendations for beginners under 500k SHU?
