My, my. So Amazon vets and censors reviews on some of its products? That is a very interesting piece of information and I can’t help but wonder if this has implications under the various Consumer Protection laws. After all if what you describe is true then they are essentially allowing the sale of a low quality product and being an accessory to the act of disguising its poor quality and the false representation of its apparent high quality (the five star reviews). I wonder what would happen if a consumer were to bring a case against Amazon with the plaintiff complaining that they had been duped into buying the book with a witness able to show that they had in fact posted a factual review of the poor quality of the product which was then deliberately removed? I doubt Amazons vetting team has even considered the implication of what they are doing.

Can you give us any advice about writing Simon? I have this idea for a book that I know Netflix would do.... hear me out.... OK, it is 1840's Ireland, and the ruler of the Irish place is Lord Sebastian Tymal-Mills...and as he comes across an irish pub whilst driving in carriage with his wife (Mamma Cass, or Tessie O'Shea, you know what I mean). The irish sing "Fields of athenry" (the latest Oirish song) and the brits sing Rule Brittania, then the son of the earl of Downington turns up...he is fresh-faced and has no dancing ability, but he loves the rebel leader Seamus O'Rourke, the rebel leader, and so Lord Sebastian sentences O'Rourke to penal servitude on a tobbaco farm, but the cigarette slaves join together (Mexicans, Native Americans, Irish) join together to defeat him at the Battle of O'Malleys, but then he becomes a pirate (with the Ooo Arr Irish accent) but it turns out that he became a pirate because Lord Sebastian has O'Malleys 13 year old son captive, and is doing terrible British things to him. The son is called "the lamb of god", and in the brutal final scene, O'Malley confronts Lord sebastian, and says " are you Christian?" But Lord sebastian sentences him to die, and all of the native americans, mexicasns, irish, scots, american patriots all join together to defeat him in the castle, and destroy his tobacco farm, but then...his son is gay (Lord Nigel Puff-Adder) and at the end of the movie everyone celebrates with not throwing the son out of the window, but accepting him for who he is, and the lamb of god is released to the cheering crowds. The end.
