My little brother (18) took his own life 6 months ago, he didn’t have his drivers license due to his autism so he didn’t chose wether he was a donor or not. We got a call 8 am the morning after from the medical office asking if we wanted to donate him or not. My mom was in the ER because she couldn’t handle things so my dad looked at me, I said yes. I wish I hadn’t because of how much they took, but he was able to help so many people. It did bring some light into our terrible situation. They put his heart valves in two babies, both his forearm bones for someone with a deformity. Hearing them talk about how amazing and helpful his body was for people was beautiful, he was such a healthy man.

Yeah, that story Duncan told is only superficially interesting in the way he suggests. If you read more about it, the wife (who had been married 4-5 times) was emotionally unstable and/or manipulative, and she may well have murdered both husbands who “committed suicide”. I’d post a link to the most in-depth article I read, but it gets removed. It was on the CBS news website, it’s from 2008, and it’s titled “2 Suicide Victims Shared Same Heart, Wife”.

Some people dismiss their own experiences as others might think they’re going crazy.
I think we’ve had enough reports that suggest that there’s some sort of memories being stored in the cells of organs. The degree may vary from person to person. I absolutely would not dismiss it on the grounds of Western European Materialism…

Just getting started I love this conversation for me your soul is a spirit that possesses a body to come to earth to learn and contribute and when this body wears out we go back to where we all go to through the tunnel etc. then we choose another vessel to learn and contribute now whether that vessel is human or a tree or a dog that just depends on you what do you want to learn For me it’s really simple rinse and repeat until there’s nothing else to learn then maybe it’s off to another planet in the universe somewhere and start all over rinse and repeat all of this is just my opinion from a feeling that I’ve had since I was a kid reincarnation of Peter proud 1970 nothing when I watch that movie I was just a kid but it screamed at me and there it began

    Absolutely!
The Tao is akin to _ṛta_ & _logos_ as well. It is ultimately the patterns or "ruleset" or physics-ethics harmonics that arise from the interplay of these. In various traditions these rules of harmony are derived from the cosmogony.
    ・Tao: _wújí_ → _tàijí_ → yin-yang / light-dark / virility-fertility / steadfastness-flexibility, etc. → the myriad things
    ・Advaita: _Nirguṇa_ Brahman → _Saguṇa_ Brahman → _Puruṣa-Prakṛti_ / Śiva-Śakti / observer-observed / subject-object / fieldknower-field / consciousness-nature, etc → the myriad things
・Early Hebrew: Yhvh-Elohim (these names are etymologically rooted in "existence" & "potency") → the myriad things
・Logic: Existence, an infinitely large illogical set (an existing "logical space" of infinitely "random" logic includes within it all possible logical & illogical sets) → a finite logical set allows for causation → Big Bang → space-time (a place to be and a place to do) / matter-energy (a store of potency and the expression of potency) → the myriad things
(cf. above cultures cross referenced to Eastern Mediterranean & Mesopotamian history of bull & serpent with staff/tree iconography and relationship to virility & fertility of both the lands/Cosmos and the mind/culture)
The interplay of being and nonbeing is what gives rise to doing. The illusory nature of the reality we experience comes from the fact that non-being doesn't exist and is not real or true. We only pretend that it is for the sake of _līlā_ in this video game called the multiverse. This gives us the impression of distinction and qualities (cf. Vedic _guṇas_ & "the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of pleasure & pain / 'good' & 'evil'"). However, that shouldn't lead us to believe the self doesn't exist. We built our own virtual reality then entered it to experience simulated lack of omnipotence.
The illusory thing is the the way the self experiences itself as other-not that self doesn't exist.

    • @RubelliteFae
      @RubelliteFae Рік тому

Also, _karma_ means "actions and their consequences." We don't really ask about, "where is the effect stored before it happens?" or "When a person has yet to suffer the consequences of their actions, where is the consequence stored?" Karma doesn't so much "store" as ride along side you in the river of time.
Also, since time is only within the realm of experience, not the reality of unification, it seems we don't have just one string of past lives, but that all lives are our past & future lives (even "concurrent" lives, tho relativity shows that all observers have their own clocks based on whether they are moving more greatly through space or time and thus "concurrence" is illusory).

He shouldn’t apologize about bringing it back to Buddhism. This other fellow is continually referencing his psychedelic experience, which is a personal and , to others, can’t really be dependable. Not because his experience isn’t valid but if he believes he’s contacting other beings what evidence is there to support that other beings have and will share ultimate truth. It’s more rare in us than not. And bringing Buddhism into the conversation brings the subject matter back to utilizing what millennia of humans have contributed to knowing what lies beyond being human.

He grabbed his little brother by the hand and took him to their mother. (yes god made himself a mother)
When asked the problem, God's older brother told his mother what he had done.
She asked God and would not talk or open his mouth.
So God's mother grabbed his little cheeks and squeezed his mouth open and looked inside.
She saw the whole universe inside his mouth. She fell back fainting.

Or you could be the one that restores hope in someone who maybe wasn't as resourceful as yourself and/or made bad decisions.
No, it's not hard to make it but it's not hard to lose it either.
It's pretty normal to want others to at least have their basic needs met, regardless the sh*t you feel you went through. That's what being awesome is......understanding this construct isn't fair but know you are not part of the problem
Now, if they are kicking cats and sh*t......... let them rot.

Don't matter, if I can genuinely feel obligated to do something that can in no way benefit myself...........there must be a reason I feel that way. Some spirit of instinct or god and it hasn't wronged me yet on the contrary made me a superhero.

"But there is evil after this world which is truly evil - what is called "the middle." It is death. While we are in this world, it is fitting for us to acquire the resurrection, so that when we strip off the flesh, we may be found in rest and not walk in the middle. For many go astray on the way." --Gospel of Philip
