Lol people talk about the Knicks as if there are a Cinderella story, they have been playing great basketball all year.
Because the team was hovering around .500 when they traded for og, and for one month the league saw what this team was healthy. Then we lost the injuries came and they managed to get 2nd place. I know teams sustain injuries , but its how this team keeps on battling. Thibs is essentially doing this with 1 starter and 4 bench players.
I agree but the old heads haven’t seen playoff success since in ages you know they’re not taking a good season as enough
I think it’s because of the injuries, no other team in the NBA would be able to sustain this level of injuries and still make it to the conference finals.
They've been in the playoffs three times in the last four years. Not a Cinderella story at all

Raptors fan here, so I say this having observed O.G. up close - I'm so glad that trade was made cause it was a win-win for both teams. O.G. is exactly the kind of glue the Knicks have needed for a long time - that's a culture builder. But that health is a factor and even though I think the shorthanded Knicks have the resiliency to prevail against the Pacers (& then the Celtics) I can't even imagine the headache they'd be for Boston if they were healthy. Off season, get even more depth and this team can keep cooking.

I can’t contain myself everytime Perk says ”Big Body Brunson”. Mainly because there’s a meme of fat Brunson.
He's not using it reference to his weight but rather in reference to cars.. In the hood we refer to certain cars as big body. For example someone may "I got the big body benz" which usually means its the full size or wide body model to whatever make or model its referenced to

I love Thibs but I don't agree that his moves were genius. It seemed obvious that they needed to go smaller and quicker and it seemed obvious that they needed to go deeper into their rotation. He deserves praise for accepting the obvious. Perk has been great and loyal. Smith is a bandwagoner.
