Thank you for posting this. I'd like to share my own experience at the Big Yellow House... about 20 years ago when it was still a restaurant, my family and I went for brunch, our first time going, (great food by the way, sad they closed) we live in the city of Santa Barbara, about 10 min North of Summerland. I have always been sensitive and "feely", as my sister puts it lol. So we go to brunch (me, mom, sister and a few others) and my sister said "Ok when we go inside you have to tell me what you feel!" I agreed, but at this point I felt it was all just phony. We walk inside, I look around, I try to channel energy, and I wasn't getting anything, so I told my sister "Nah, it's BS, this place is not haunted". When the hostess called our party to be seated she took us upstairs to the second floor, as I reach the top of the stairs there is the main dining room and to the left is the old bar area.... I immediately felt a pull in the direction of the bar... I look over, and I could just FEEL it. "I turn around, and I said.. THERE! Right there is where I feel the energy!" We were then seated, and given a Menu. I open it and it gave a brief history of the place. Turns out the old bar room is where they held all the seances.... I had absolutely no idea about this... my sister and I both look at each other and we just were speechless. It did not feel like an evil spirit, nor a good spirit, it was just residual energy from all those seances... I feel like the energy will always remain there. Anywho, that's my experience there, I'm still sad it closed.

Also, why not have a condensed version with just the meat of the topic, and then maybe release a separate video where it's basically just the raw footage of the investigation? Equally thorough while also being accessible.
They built a Big Yellow House in Reno in the 70's. It looked just like a Victorian mansion. There was something very strange about the place.
June Young came up with the idea to turn the house into the big yellow house restaurant, she also was a founder of the short lived Santa Claus Lane, both on the 101 near Santa Barbara. She sold the rights for it to be a chain restaurant and they made a number of Big Yellow House restaurants, all closed up. I went to Santa Claus Lane in its heyday and it was interesting but had a weird vibe and I remember the G.I. Joes were 10x more than at other toy stores so I didn’t buy anything, that place could’ve been haunted too, maybe worth an investigation.

If you experienced that level of activity on the outside, who knows what it would be like on the inside.

or do they see the highway and all it's noise and you walking around with your equipment?
