They actually already did, and universal’s contract with the Simpsons ends in 2028, so Disney may bring the Simpsons Ride into their theme parks. The area where Star Tours was could actually be a good area. Edit: Oh nvm, another ride already replaced it at Anaheim, Florida, Tokyo, and Paris. Maybe, just maybe, they could add more space to all of the parks, or they could remove the current ride, but if it’s popular and people still want it there, then Disney will have to find an option, because I’m pretty sure a lot of people would love the Simpsons to go to Disney’s theme parks if they have the chance when it gets removed from Universal Studios in 4 years.
Rumor has it a Pokemon land and ride is going to replace it in Universal Studios Florida due to Universal not wanting to renew their theme park license to the Simpsons with Disney. Dunno what that means for Hollywood's, but it shows Universal is attempting to replace it, in my opinion, for the better.

The creative freedom of the writing isn’t something we see everyday especially in animation and the Simpsons this ride is bonkers in all the best ways… BTTF had dinosaurs that made no sense in back to the future it also doesn’t have Michael J Fox cuz they cheaped out on it.
