Were you able to get a permit from the Moroccan authorities to fly? Did anyone ask you for a permit? I hear that you can apply but it just never get on.

Hey Christopher. Nah we didn't get a permit. On the official flying sites it's no problem at all apparently.

You can do a guided trip with a local guide for a week or so and they will take care of the permits. Then go off on your own later. It is best, at least for the first time there. You don't want to run foul of the law there, you are in someone else's country, show them some love by respecting their laws. Plus, if you get a guide, you will be helping the local flying scene. The guide I had worked very closely with the local Government officials... to be continued.
