From 2007: Anthony Bourdain, the culinary bad boy
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 жов 2024
- In a story which originally aired on "Sunday Morning" on September 30, 2007, correspondent Lesley Stahl profiles the celebrity chef and host of "No Reservations" Anthony Bourdain, whose adventurous spirit has led him to far-flung lands to sample some of the world's most exotic foods. Stahl also talked with Bourdain's mother, Gladys, whose cooking - and an oyster her son sampled in France at age 10 - inspired young Anthony to pursue a life in the kitchen.

Rest in peace Anthony, you will be truly missed.
So sad that he's gone. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.
I know. I just saw Roadrunner documentary about him and cried and cried but it was interesting too
I have never very good watching TV, but I have to admit I never ever missed a "No Reservations" show. Tony Bourdain had a way to explain and talk about things like no other. R.I.P. Tony, you sure will be missed.
My favorite interview with the incomparable Anthony BOURDAIN. Oh I wish he knew how much he is truly loved. Rest in Paradise. 🙏🏽😭
Rest in peace Anthony Bourdain. You inspired travel and cooking for so many people. I'm going to miss you. 💔
So sad Anthony is gone. So love his show and how he interacted with people and culture with respect and love
"When you're in a restaurant, you shouldn't eat fish on Monday."
"Those words are gonna be on my headstone."
RIP Tony

Miss this man💔🥺. He was my favorite.
I feel so bad for his mom.
Yes but his daughter more.
He surely will be miss and condolences to the Bourdain family God bless you all.
what a legend
Rip Anthony I enjoyed watching your travels
What a loss....even today in 2021 its hits hard.
He now can eat sushi at Jiro's in Tokoyo to his heart's content. Sayonara, Tony!
Tony, you're the best . Enjoy your brief respite in ku and your well earned cup of saki . Adios amigo - sayonara.
So sad. So so sad. We will miss you!
And he died in france😢😢
I do not think that he committed suicide, he had everything. My wife and I are facing eviction, can't get a job anywhere, and all of our animals will have to to go to the pound and we don't know where to turn. But I still can't bring myself to commit suicide.
Don't ever do that..thing will get better and you will look back thankful it ended. Even if it takes time, your pride lies in enduring till it ends...
That what ya call living a dream!
Anyone else catch that look Leslie gave Anthony?
I watched him reduce chaos into Kwee Zeen
These people are ALL privileged. Wtf. Anthony didn't want to be but couldn't shake it. He needed it. I miss him though.
Poor guy...😢
Dont eat fish on Monday...Anthony B 2018 RIP
RIP😢💔
When I heard of his passing I thought it was from a heart attack. RIP
heartbreaking
R.I.P.
So sad. RIP
RIP
3:40 he got flung😂😅
Why Tony? :(
She's really obsessed with julia child
5:38 :(
So why the suicide?
thats an atv...not a dune buggy
Can't understand why he killed himself. I'm not rich, but if I had his money, boy, I'd be happy. Of course, that's the difference: the middle class truly understands hardship, the rich can't handle the hurdles.
Guess we're truly richer.
Anyway, hope Mr. Bourdain sees another paradigm. RIP.
Oh, by the way, I don't contemplate suicide: I accept my place on earth.
Chickens way out
Don’t you dare say that. You have no idea what happens in the mind of a person suffering with depression or mental illness. Your mind can get temporarily broken, in the same way you can break your arm or a leg. And, if you get overwhelmed by the feelings, you can take your own life. Anthony Bourdain was a great person on so many levels, and he clearly wasn’t thinking straight when he took his own life.
Now he’s 6 million feet under; his fellow tribesmen should follow the same well deserved path.
Anyone who goes to the rough parts of Haiti and stays at the mystical Oloffson is tough. Very strange indeed. He was a down to earth guy who can relate with very poor people. He loved to eat street food and that is a sign that the guy was down to earth and did not let money and fame corrupt and change him.
RIP
