Himoto Tanto
Just recccomemend one of these as a beginer RC for someone. Apart from the electronics and radio is there anything they have upgraded or Improved over the SCRC/Himoto Tanto that you reviewed over 10 years ago also what are some of the parts you found you needed to replace or upgrade after running it for a while?
Hi Andrew, Vas has mentioned that to his knowledge, nothing has changed other than the obvious electronics and colour of the body. As far as upgrades, nothing is really needed, however, he would recommend keeping an eye out for the front driveshafts as they have popped out on occasion. This can be rectified by using a couple of small rubber 'O' rings in the drive cups which will help center the driveshafts and prevent them popping out during use.
We hope that helps!

Ok thanks for the tip.
If that happens will be sure use some O rings in the front drive cups.

My friend has now got this buggy and yes, already the front dog bones have come out a few time. I have tried o rings but it does affect the steering knuckle movement. Just thought I'd let you guys know there is a CVD upgrade which is a factory part on the brushless version of the Tanto the E10XBL that you get don't get standed on the brushed version.
The part number is 33204 you can order from Ebay which I have done.
Just thought it might be useful for you guys to order for the store as a fix for customers who too experience this problem.
Can we upgrade the parts? 😊
Hi Zack, certain parts you can! You can upgrade wheels & tyres. shocks, battery and electrics in this buggy. Hope that helps!
What’s the grey button under the trigger do?behind the trigger and behind the steering wheel
Hi Daniel, that's a 3rd channel button, but it's inactive as the car only requires 2 channels to work!
It's a nice little car my first since I was a kid only one issue I've out grown it I need something faster just waiting on a wltoys 124019 see how that one goes ,anyway mate thanks for your knowledge :-)
@@danielkollatos5097 how is the 124019? I was gonna get one but i am pretty concerned by the amount of complaints regarding build quality and reliability.
