I tried it...but it seems Power Bi only reads data in columns.
Need to create a new tab in my file to flip my rows and columns and into a table.
I mean my own datasheet that is made for ppl to enter values.

When I merge the two tables there are columns who have the "value" : null. I don't know how to fix this, since the two tables don't have the same number of lines ? Can someone please explain to me what iam doing wrong
at 3:26 when i do the same measure the app show message "A single value for column 'QUANTITY' in table 'InputData' cannot be determined. This can happen when a measure formula refers to a column that contains many values without specifying an aggregation such as ...etc" how can i solve this i hope u read my comment
Use ADD NEW COLUMN instead of NEW MEASURE, bcoz Measure needs to start with aggregated function

Thanks for sharing this. I do have one question or a sample based from the dashboard you have shown. Let's say in the month slicer I chose Jan and in the year slicer to 2022. In the bar graph visual, I wanted to show the 12 month roll of data so technically, what I wanted to show in there will be from Jan 2021 until Jan 2022 only. For the card visuals, in here it will only show the Jan 2022 data since that is what I've chosen in the slicer. May I ask how we can achieve that in one sheet. Or maybe you have a video tutorial on that? Thanks
According to me, you can use a slicer in different ways. Simply you need to select slicer and put the date in a field where you will get an option to select a date range. It will work for you. Please let me know does it works for you or not. 😊

great video! love it. i have a question. at 5:34 when i try to add the total selling value. why did my power bi change it to ''sum of total selling value''. i try to delete/choose only for ''total selling value'' but the option isn't there. How do i solve this? please help me 😭
Right click on the Sum of total selling and select don't summarise. Power BI by default consider take aggregate value for numeric column.

@@LeanExcelSolutions I am not sure because I am learning Power BI from your amazing videos...but at 4:02 when I tried your calculation for Profit = SUM ([Total Selling Value]) - SUM (Total Buying Value]) I was getting same values for alllll entries in this new column (Profit) . So I changed it to [Total Selling Value] -[TotalBuying Value] . btw thank you so much for your videos..I have never learned so much in such short time

Why show my project in Propertice ="This setting has moved.To Change the slicer style ,select Format>Slivcer setting >Options>Style."
This project was completed in an older version of Power BI. Now the slicer option settings location have been changed.
