    what kind of rope is that? Does anyone know?

    • @bmichaelgroff

      They’re called drag ropes. They’re thicker and a lot heavier

    Big mistake from the begining, he started 4 seconds later!!!

    • @bmichaelgroff
      @bmichaelgroff  4 роки тому +7

      He did start a bit slow, but in the past year I’ve noticed Noah being a lot more mindful about his strategy. Better to start 4s late instead of blowing up in the beginning and performing terribly

    • @g1s8
      @g1s8 4 роки тому +5

      @@bmichaelgroff How can you blow up within first 4 seconds?. Noah's huge issue is his set up for lifts! It take Matt 5 seconds from when he finishes his GHD's to when he lift the bar. Same thing takes nearly 15 seconds for Noah.

    • @mauriciorodriguezgomez3135
      @mauriciorodriguezgomez3135 4 роки тому +1

      Yeah.. that’s what up

    • @bmichaelgroff
      @bmichaelgroff  4 роки тому +2

      You can’t blow up in 4s, but the fact that Noah is taking a step back and being mindful of how he’s performing is way better than just coming out hot in the first part of the workout and then falling off

      @g1s8 4 роки тому +1

      @@bmichaelgroff dont fet me wrong I am not trying to be smart here however losing 4 seconds from the start is not being mindful but rater foolish at their level. It just snowballed from there with his transitions and set up before lifts. I like him a lot, even more so now after all the videos he realised on his channel but he has to change those small things if he wants to compete against Matt. It is that simple! I wish him best!

    the position of the body in the GHD is different between Noa and Fraser, this makes some difference or it does not matter?, honest question

    • @michaelbean4878

      It’s just personal preference, some people like their butt to hang off more making it easier to reach back. However that puts greater strain on the legs while making it easy on the back, and vice versa sitting higher up like mat is doing. Either way you do it this workout comes down to core stamina and Mat is just on a entirely different level.

      Pretty much comes down to personal preference. The only official requirement is that each GHD is the same height from the ground. That’s why Mat is using mats on his

      @@bmichaelgroff Mats technique for that was way better for it then. He used the tension in his body do help spring himself back up, using less energy. Noah was too far off of it for that and lost the tension from it

    I have been following Noah for like 4 years now..
    boy he got better but the cleans took him out,, its like he is not used to doing this volume with this intensity and weights..
    Anyway.. hands down to these athletes.. they have crushed their comfort zones and are enjoying themselves..
    Noah Ohlsen all the way.. hope he watches this vid and adjusts accordingly.
