Thanks for these vids homie, I just started a couple weeks ago and they're super helpful
It is so cute that you are doing all these little guides for new players, thx from a veteran here ^^
I'm starting from the ground up with what I think is important is all. I did the same thing for pso2 😎
Thanks for upload. I'm new to the game and I appreciate the breakdown.
NP! Just keep in mind a few of the options might be worded slightly different now in that menu, but should still do the same things for the most part.
I got to 90 before I realized this was a thing, so helpful when trying to get some of the original extreme content.
These settings are so hidden, tiny little cog at top left, the same color as the window, no way I would spot this. Can't believe join in progress is not enabled by default. Luckily party's I've had with quitters have always been filled, usually by max level mentor kings and queens.
Where do I go before this video? I don't see any duty finder even when I search it in game
After completing the lvl 10 Main Story, you can either use the hotkey for it, I think it's U by default, or you find it through the Main Menu Icons. 2nd from the left, Exclamation Mark "Duty" Icon > Duty Finder.
They have changed the name to "Unrestricted party" now... was going nuts trying to find "Undersized party" when it wasn't even there.
Sorry I should have mentioned that somewhere when it changed but kinda assumed people would figure it out since it was so similar.
Language options will hardly ever help your queue in XIV since our servers are a bit more regionalized. It's a bit of a relic from FFXI days where every single region played together so tagging yourself for language was immensely useful.
I miss those kinds servers, but I understand it's not very practical nowdays.
Mouse is off, otherwise neat video. Thanks.
Yeah I'm not exactly sure what's up with that, FFXIV has been the only game/program to have that recording problem. I'll figure it out soon though, it's probably something simple.
@@JackSplains If you are in borderless try going fullscreen then back to borderless. Or avoid using DX9 as that is also something that can cause it(for unknown reasons).
Can also happen if you use custom screen resolutions or vertical taskbars.
I do use borderless and was wondering if that was the cause. Thanks for the suggestions, hopefully one of them works. Worst case scenario I might just have to record in full screen mode.
hehe he said dooty finder
Thanks for the quick guides, really helpfull!
