If you're still active, could you listen to "Everyone knows that (ulterior motives)" and see if you recognize it? It's a lost song from around that time.
@@jeffdeponte That was a song with a similar name, that's what they were looking for, (It has been found now and was done by Christopher Saint Booth). I myself am curious whether the song written by Maurice Bega was ever recorded anywhere else live or otherwise. There appears to only be 3 versions on youtube; a live one done on KGMB as seen here - the original vinyl song, and then there's another version that sounds re-mastered and remixed slightly under something called Romantic Story 11: 30 P.M. I wonder if Mackey ever sang it live again other than on this show.
@@lynerenio807elsewhere on UA-cam there is the full one hour show of this concert. And at the end of the credits it does list 1987 as the copyright date. Sorry if I got it wrong earlier, it was such a long time ago!
This band brings back memories of my child hood. Though their from Hawaii, we loved their music here in the Philippines. ^_^ Specially Nightbird, and The Hurt. ^_^
This song could we'll have been in the Top 10 in the Top 40 of that year. It easily could have gone gold. Mackey Fear had that Vocal thing (very similar to Hall & Oates). And that BAND! That MUSIC was hot!
Hey cloud9808! Kalapana did have a chance back in the 70's. They played here in So. Cal at the Kono Hawaii, which is not around anymore. They opened a concert for Earth, Wind & Fire as well back in the day... sorry you missed out!
Really, no comments about Macky? He was going with a girl I went to school with and they came and played at the school. Anybody remember the awesome concert at Aloha Stadium with Summer and C&K? What a loss.
ベースのけんじさのすきです😊🎉
Tell me not, this is City pop! No wonder they were huge in Japan. Just rediscovered this album and it goes so hard! 🤙🏻
I directed this show, way back in... '86? Live tv, what a blast!

Of course I remember that one! I believe "Everyone Knows" was written by a good friend of the band, Mr. Maurice Bega.

I'm sure Mackey sang it at live gigs. Maurice often plays in the latest versions of Kalapana, maybe he sings it now!
Ah alright, thanks
In this song, the Linn 9000 is heard.
