This is one of those Franchises that needs a kickstarter for a spiritual successor game. Just like Creators of Suikoden, Shadow Hearts, and Wild arms did.
@@charlesa1234 if you're a fan of legend of legaia I would recommend hybrid heaven. It's gameplay loop is solid. it's like a action rpg fighting sim. It does have some shortcomings like unnecessary resident evil style shooting segments and platforming and very stale map design but the combat is the meat and potatoes of the game and there's a lot of it. It was good enough to get me through the whole game and thoroughly enjoy it the whole time.
Same here, just finished the fishing game to get the water Ra-Sera, sometimes the line just break for no reason, no idea what i was doing wrong, but got the points and the summon so is done anyway :D
Just picked up a complete, mint copy. When I say mint, I think I’m the only person to ever remove the disc from the case. I’m confident it was never played. Same with copy of MGS. $100
5:50 what were you looking for? Great build on gala. I saw another review saying that gala was pretty much the healer early game due to not having big combos
its my 1st time seeing legend of legaia battle syst, dude i play every final fantasy series on console and why didint they do the same with ff7 and 8, this is awesome
we need games like legend of legaia for next gen console. the battle system was spectacular and addictive. imagine in those years without internet, you spend grinding only to find the combos. that was so much fun 😁
Even at lv 99 it can still kick you ass as starting AROUND LV 50 even the final dungeon enemies take TOO long to kill for another 49 + levels and I usually BEAT the game's FINAL boss AROUND LV 36.
You can use a Spikefish Flute to escape the battle and then reenter the battle it messes up the game your MP will now be at 0/how much you have and you will be able to restore your MP which makes the fight a lot easier since now you can summon Jedo to kill it
Maybe unpopular opinion but I don't even need a remake, I prefer to keep memories intact and unmodified. I don't want to see this game's lines altered, cheap unreal engine "graphics", quality of life features for lazy players and fake orchestrated music. The game feels old yes but it's the "right" kind of old, especially if you play it on an oldschool CRT TV. Love this game ❤ Ok well, perhaps some mod would be needed, like more difficult enemies, japanese battle voices added back, super arts should show in the triangle menu, skippable seru animations, phoenix usage in combat should be limited, perhaps add Past Conkram as a bonus, post-game, non canon area. Stuff like that

God, I remember being level 85-90 minimum and still losing my ass to this bird without the point card.
you need war god icon + war soul to face this crazy bird without jedo trick
only speed chain + bunch of phoenix. Was able to take it down at level 31

I had it pirated.. But also played and finished the original (non-pirated) version through renting.. Classic game.

hey you cheat level 99, me just level 40 or 50 fight lapis so hard 1 hit my charakter dead if wrong choice
Kind of a boring fight when each of your characters do 10% of the boss's health per attack. This fighe is mre fun at lvl 60.
Sorry it ticks me off you keep refusing to party heal lol
