@@ead2292 unfortunately I haven’t been able to go back yet! Although I’m currently living in Japan and hoping to make it back to Cambodia sometime within the next year (that’s the hope!)
Hello! I’m so sorry for the late reply! I originally planned to reinstate but my plans changed as the date kept getting pushed further and further back. What about you?
Hello, My name is Harry Dwinell and I am an eRPCV who served in The Gambia from 2017 to 2020. I am currently a documentary film student at The New School in NYC and am in the process of making a documentary about Peace Corps that touches on potential ways the organization could reform through conversations with other RPCVs across generations. While it is not the focus of the documentary, there will be a section that touches on the evacuation. That said, while trying to find additional videos for this section I found this video and I am curious if you would be willing to share any videos you may have of the evacuation itself? Of course you would be credited. If you have any questions about the documentary, me, or my intentions please don't hesitate to ask!
Hi Harry! Im so sorry I let this comment slip through the cracks and I’m definitely responding a bit late! I’m sure you have finished your documentary already, but if you haven’t, I do have some footage of the evacuation if you are still interested!
4+ years later, we need and update! Have you ever been back to visit your host family and students?

Thank youuuu! 🥰
I did the UK version of Peace Corps in 2009. I can't imagine how disorientating this evacuation would have been.
